Excellent cuisine, fast service, warm welcome, in short an excellent address. Only passing through Tarbes, but if the opportunity arises I will come back to eat here

What a lovely discovery, finally a real homemade restaurant, everything was perfect, the service, a very smiling young man, the dishes were very, very good, the decor was perfect and a great addition. Passing through Tarbes, we noticed this rating of 4.5.
So we show up at the Louvre restaurant and….very big disappointment. Very little choice of dishes, we opted for 2 duck breasts served…just with fries without any sauce.
But the most disappointing thing is the atmosphere. We didn't even have dessert, no longer able to stand these incessant arguments between the service and the kitchen. We could hear everything from our place in the restaurant. Long wait to be served: obvious lack of staff in the dining room and in the kitchen.
Happy to subsequently taste an excellent ice cream in the city center with royalties in a friendly and smiling atmosphere.
Very good restaurant. An affordable and very good menu.
Staff listens and changes if a dish is not suitable.
