Excellent Cuisine The Royal Bacon Burger Deserves its name, the Steak is excellently cooked, and the home fries are Perfect, The Service, although fast, lacks a smile, the young lady who welcomed us had everything going for her, a smile would have been excellence the same for the excellent atmosphere but missing something and I wouldn't know what but it was obvious 4/5 Excellent, I recommend it.

Arriving in a group (9) in the middle of rush hour on a midday in August, we doubted we would have space, but we were quickly offered 2 nearby tables, which suited us (teenagers on one side, adults the other). The menus are generous and affordable, the homemade cassoulet is good and served hot. Small downside on the crème brûlée which probably resembled a Catalan cream. Overall the staff is very good, it's a shame that our waitress was much less smiling and pleasant than the second, rather jovial waitress. Overall a good experience, I recommend.

The food was very tasty, the service was nice, but the lasagne could have been a little mushy. In short, a nice place :D

Een lekkere lunch hier gehad. De cassoulet zijn om aan te raden. Maar als hoofdgerecht is het wel ontzettend veel en zwaar op de maag. Maar goed van smaak en ontzettend romig.

Amazing food in a great atmosphere! The €20 menu for 3 courses was great value and delicious… French onion soup, cassoulet and crème brûlée were great choices!

l'Ostal des Troubadours

12/09/2024: Cheerful relaxed spot for an uncomplicated taste of local cuisine. Decor reminded us of an Irish pub with a theatrical twist, complete with open wood fire. Very much enjoyed listening to the guitarist who sang Gypsy Kings type music while we ate.
05/07/2024: A little long wait, however the food was very good especially the cassoulet and the entrecôte which was cooking next to us. Very medieval atmosphere and a musician present at lunchtime.
