Le Marcou sur Carcassonne

Well located, but the floor heats up. The chairs aren't very practical. The pizza I ordered was very, very flat and didn't resemble the pizzas you get elsewhere at all; it had no topping and looked a bit like an industrial pizza. Simon's hot Camembert was very good.

Excellent local products and very pleasant staff, thank you, don't change a thing!

During a quick 24-hour visit to Carcassonne, I found this restaurant by checking the best reviews and their rankings on Google, and I chose it. No regrets whatsoever. The restaurant is fantastic; you can see the professionalism of the servers and the kitchen staff, which is truly delightful. I highly recommend going there without hesitation.

The smoothies weren't great. We tried three different ones, and the blended fruit wasn't sweet at all. Plus, they were a bit pricey at €6.90. So, we were a little disappointed.

Nicely shaded, the waiters and waitresses are very kind... the pizzas are a delight... 5-minute wait, served hot, excellent...

The meat pasta was a large portion and tasty, but nothing special. ​Unfortunately, we found a slug in one of our salads. The server kindly replaced it with a good cheese plate. However, when the bill arrived, they had charged us for the uneaten salad anyway. They did refund us €20 after we pointed it out, but it felt like a sneaky habit of trying to overcharge tourists. ​Check your salad and definitely double-check your bill! . Had lunch here 😋 had the royal cassoulet amazing, but very filling..staff were polite and helpful , would definitely recommend

Excellent lunch. The welcome was very friendly, and the waiter was very attentive to the terrace, which made for a smooth and efficient service. The dishes were simple but delicious. Foie gras as a starter on still-warm toast, and the salmon as a main course was cooked exactly as I requested—all the ingredients for a very enjoyable lunch. I highly recommend the chef's creation: the macaron I received in my gourmet coffee.

A wonderful time: we had a delicious meal. And the atmosphere in the dining room was more than pleasant! With the other diners and the service itself. 🤗

Coffee and cake are good, but expensive here.
