28/06/2026: Please like and follow. ​Mixed experience inside the citadel. 🏰 We stopped at Le Marcou in the main square. The beers were cold, the service was courteous, and the cassoulet was absolutely excellent! The meat pasta was a large portion and tasty, but nothing special. ​Unfortunately, we found a slug in one of our salads. The server kindly replaced it with a good cheese plate. However, when the bill arrived, they had charged us for the uneaten salad anyway. They did refund us €20 after we pointed it out, but it felt like a sneaky habit of trying to overcharge tourists. ​Check your salad and definitely double-check your bill! . Unfortunately, we found a slug in one of our salads. The waiter kindly offered to replace it, and we opted for a cheese plate instead. The real problem arose when the bill arrived: we were still charged for the uneaten salad. They eventually refunded us €20 after we complained, but it certainly seemed like a bad habit to overcharge tourists. Inspect your salad and double-check your bill.

18/06/2026: Had lunch here 😋 had the royal cassoulet amazing, but very filling..staff were polite and helpful , would definitely recommend
