Le Monstroel sur Montreuil

15/06/2024: This is our favourite hotel in the whole of France! We try to call here wherever and whenever we are travelling anywhere near. We can’t find anything to criticize, the reception staff are friendly welcoming and helpful. We asked to change rooms when we stayed recently and it was done immediately and without fuss. The updated bedrooms are now smart and very comfortable with good facilities. The buildings that make up the hotel are full,of character and have been modernized very sympathetically. But the jewel in the crown here is the food, which is always a joy to see and eat! Beautifully presented and so very tasty. The cheese “chariot “ is a sight to behold in itself! Not only that but breakfast in the amazingly designed breakfast room is wonderful too, a huge variety of fresh and delicious alternatives, served with a smile. The staff team here, very professionally run by the owners, are without exception a brilliant example of how hotels should be, knowledgeable and there to make your visit memorable and a delight. We can’t wait to go back!

13/06/2024: A very good hotel to stopover at when travelling. Good restaurant but also bars and restaurants within walking distance if you want other choices.
