What a fabulous hotel! Classy without being snobby. Our room overlooking the river was stunning, the staff were absolutely amazing, and as for the meal in the restaurant... no words! We felt welcome and at home. If you're considering staying here, stop thinking and just book it!

This small and beautiful hotel is perched above the weir (to supply the mill wheel) and you enjoy the sound of torrents of water constantly rushing. My room was spacious, well appointed and had a lovely view over the pretty town of Brantôme en Périgord. The staff were lovely and helped with anything I needed. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast on the terrace in the morning sunshine was perfect! The scrambled eggs were cooked exactly as I like them (and I’m very fussy about scrambled eggs!) and the bread and croissants were delicious. Home made preserves too. A really lovely stay! Two small criticisms. They charge €15 to park your car (you have to give them the keys), the WiFi is unbelievably slow (less than 1 MB/s)

A beautiful hotel ideally located in the charming village of Brantôme, on the riverbank and just steps from the magnificent Saint Pierre Abbey. A warm welcome, a lovely room under the eaves, and a modern, spacious bathroom. The bedding is very comfortable. The highlight: the delicious breakfast served in the hotel's restaurant, which has a terrace overlooking the river. The products are fresh and delicious. Another strong point is the very friendly staff. Highly recommended.

A quiet luxury, this wonderful hotel is nestled in a beautiful medieval village, inviting rest and relaxation, with a stunning view of the Abbey and the old mill. Excellent service, very friendly and charming staff, an exquisite place full of class in the details, breakfast with products made on-site, and an excellent Michelin-starred restaurant for dinner.
