Very good evening spent in a warm atmosphere, tasting delicious dishes recommended by the very friendly owner. We return there each time we visit Aix.

An incredible restaurant, an authentic atmosphere, a truly astonishing discovery between camaraderie, flavors and impeccable cuisine! I love it, and I will come back!

We were served artichokes confit in white wine and vinegar as a starter, the crunchy little carrots added a little sweet note. Everything seasoned to perfection, my taste buds are asking for more… For the dish we chose, a leg of lamb with thyme (a larger quantity of thyme was missing), however the cooking was perfect. The lamb was melty on the tongue. It was accompanied by a little mashed potato and Mediterranean vegetables. For my part, I had a confit duck leg with grilled chocolate sauce and it was an explosion of flavor with mashed potatoes and little vegetables. Excellent decoration of the dishes. Soft and relaxed music which creates a warm and festive atmosphere. I won’t forget my rose crémant. Thank you for this great time to the entire Verdot team!

I return to this place twice a year at least and i am never disappointed. Very old fashioned French food with a twist. I recommend you taste the mashed potatoes than accompany the dishes, it's delicious. All dishes are great, depends on what you like. Really enjoyed lavender crème brûlée. Small place, book in advance.

Absolutely wonderful food, wine, and experience. Perfect local food, a very quotidian experience. Would recommend to any and all who visit the the area

Questo ristorante ci è stato consigliato ed abbiamo consumato davvero una cena squisita. Abbiamo preso due antipasti e due secondi piatti per dividerceli: davvero tutto tutto molto buono. Consiglio questo bel ristorantino

(update 2024: lowered from 5 to 3 ⭐️) The quality of the food has decreased a bit, while the prices increased significantly. Also, the hygiene was not the best: the table was sticky, the restroom was *not* clean. On a positive note, the service was great. Finally: the value for money is rather low. ————— Les plats de viande sont succulents. Celle mijotées longtemps sont uniques! Bonne carte des vins. Déçu par les poissons

Great ambiance. Food was ok. Staff was good. Great wine and drinks. Off the main path so less tourist which was great. Overall highly enjoyed and would recommend.
