We came for lunch with friends, and it was a very pleasant experience. The food is well-prepared and homemade, and the cook takes the time to chat with her customers and ask for feedback, making adjustments if needed. They are lovely people who genuinely care about customer satisfaction. I highly recommend it.

A fantastic family-friendly place, a warm atmosphere, incredibly kind people, and delicious food at a very reasonable price.
I love going there regularly and highly recommend it, especially in the summer when there are concerts on the terrace.

A wonderful experience at Le Pic Assiette restaurant in Vesoul.
I spent over two hours at the table and everything was perfect: generous and authentic home-style cooking, including excellent chicken with cancoillotte cheese.
But beyond the food, what truly stands out is the welcome: simple and warm. You feel comfortable, you take your time, and it becomes a genuinely human experience.
In a time when many restaurants are alike, it's a real pleasure to find an independent establishment with character. You can also sense the artistry, the passion for sharing, and the joy of hospitality. I highly recommend it.

The welcome was perfect, the setting truly lovely. Seated opposite the serving hatch, the cook greeted me with a big smile.
Instead of the daily special, the frog legs tempted me so much that I ordered them.
Across from the hatch, I witnessed a theatrical scene: the head chef was yelling at the cook about the preparation and plating. It was 12:15 pm… and, more importantly, she pointed out that the frog legs were overcooked and that it was impossible to send out a dish like that: “Imagine a customer wants to count the legs, how are you supposed to do that on crumbs?”… And yet, I was served… the chef politely asked if everything was alright, and I replied that, yes, it was dry and half of it was burnt. The response: “But yes, I told the cook!” "I'll make them again for you" (I refrained from telling her that if she knew, as the chef, she shouldn't have let them be sent). Frankly, I'd lost my appetite... I didn't even want dessert or coffee (which they offered to offer me), so I went to the till and paid €25 for my 12 frog legs (the menu price). Given all the positive reviews and the people who recommended this restaurant, I chalked it all up to a series of unfortunate events... But unfortunately, apart from the aperitif, they didn't ask me what I wanted to drink with my meal, and I wasn't even offered a carafe of water.
So... 3 stars, because I think it was just a stroke of bad luck.
