Le Plô sur Carcassonne

The food was delicious, especially the cassoulet. The dining room is small and cold. The service was quick and efficient but not very friendly. There is a children's menu.

We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at Le Plô restaurant. The welcome, the decor, the music: a pleasant atmosphere from the moment we arrived. The menu lived up to this first impression. We opted for the Saint Marcelin cheese purses and the cod with chorizo ​​sauce: the dishes were excellent, as were the desserts, all at a very reasonable price. A place to remember!

Good value for money. Pleasant welcome. The only downside was the slightly cramped dining room. As regulars in the area, we'd never tried this restaurant before. We were pleasantly surprised, especially in such a touristy environment. I recommend it.

A good place to eat, about average compared to the other places we ate the rest of the days. The starters (salad and soup) and desserts were decent. The cassoulet we chose for our main course was very good. The service could be improved; they seemed to be in a bad mood, but it wasn't a problem if you wanted to escape the cold and eat.

Place to eat a good cassoulet. The food was generally good and the waitress was very attentive. What we were not happy about was the attention from what seemed to be the owner. We went in and sat down and didn't get our order until 15 minutes later. We waited about 45 minutes for the salad to be brought to us (we think our order was lost because a while before the owner came back to ask what we had ordered). The children had only ordered cassoulet and I mentioned it so they could bring it to them. The owner didn't like this and instead of apologizing and leaving it there, he came with his phone with images from the cameras showing the time he had taken our order (15 minutes after we entered) and the time he had brought the salad and that he couldn't have gone any faster. The problem is that even though the cassoulet takes about 25 minutes, from the time we sat down until they brought it, 50 minutes passed. We settled for an apology, but the owner seemed not to take responsibility. Seeing that the owner continues with the same behavior and lies, I will answer. That the others arrived 20 minutes later is a lie, I entered, at 2 minutes they. Regarding our lack of respect towards the workers, completely a lie, we were very patient and polite, I only asked in good manners if it was still long when we had already been there for 45 minutes. The table next to us did what he translated what the owner was saying and they even gave us the reason for his behavior towards us. You can see the politeness in my review, I could say that everything is bad and it is not like that, I have only complained about the owner's behavior. You can see in his responses to the reviews that he does not like, maybe the one who treats us like dogs is not the others. Thank you and have a good year.

The food was generally quite good; we didn't like the tuna tataki, but everything else was pretty good. The service was very quick and attentive, the place is clean and very pleasant, although it was a bit chilly. They let us eat with our puppy in the indoor dining area.

This is the second time I've returned to this restaurant with my family. A very warm welcome and a great atmosphere. The dishes were delicious and very generous.
