A small crêperie with a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The galettes are delicious and could rival those from Brittany! They even made me a buckwheat galette for dessert instead of wheat. The service is quick, the place is clean, and they work hard... thank you! 🙂

A wonderful discovery! We thoroughly enjoyed everything from the appetizer to the dessert. The restaurant was friendly and the waitress was very welcoming and always smiling. We will definitely be back and highly recommend it.

25/04/2026: A very pleasant welcome, everyone was smiling, the dining room is truly original, the service impeccable, and the food a delight: superb veal andouillette... an absolutely perfect iced verbena dessert... the value for money is excellent... we were passing through Le Puy-en-Velay and I'm so glad I chose L'Écu d'Or... thank you to the whole team and congratulations on the quality of your work.
21/04/2026: In fact, there's nothing to complain about: everything was perfect! The food was excellent and the value for money unbeatable (24 euros for a starter, main course, and dessert, including an amuse-bouche), the service was incredibly efficient, warm, and friendly, and the vaulted stone dining room was magnificent. A truly memorable experience that should serve as an example to many restaurants! I can't wait for my next trip to Le Puy to go back.
