What a delight this impromptu Friday lunch was, under the sun, and therefore, on the terrace. A very friendly welcome, a lovely local menu, and a chalkboard highlighting daily specials and starters. We started straight away with the bouillabaisse, which was very good and beautifully presented. Would there have been room for a starter? Probably, if I'd been feeling particularly hungry, but the prices seemed a bit too high… We're in Antibes, and this place attracts many foreigners ;), in the sublime "Free Commune of the Saffron Growers" in the heart of old Antibes, where it's so delightful to stroll!

Even now, I don't know how I could have missed such a gem all this time! Stepping through the doors of Le Safranier restaurant is to open yourself up to a truly delightful experience: the welcome is warm and attentive, the service is of a quality that is becoming increasingly rare, and as for the cuisine... Whether you're a fan of traditional recipes or a lover of original and unique flavors, Chef Olivier Gaiatto and his team win everyone over by elevating cooking to the level of culinary art, offering the palate and taste buds taste, finesse, flavor, and refinement. I can't wait to go back, because Le Safranier tastes like happiness ❤️

My wife, our two children, and I visited Le Safranier in Antibes, and we had a wonderful time. The welcome was warm, the service attentive, and the atmosphere very pleasant. The dishes were delicious; you could tell everything was homemade, with high-quality ingredients and expertly prepared. Even the children loved it! A truly excellent restaurant that we highly recommend. We will gladly return.

A huge disappointment on our last visit! The service was frankly terrible. We had to ask for salt, pepper, bread, and mustard (which was never served)! The plates were empty! My €24 main course turned out to be a tiny starter! It's frankly outrageous!!! This will be our last visit. What a shame!!!

A wonderful discovery!
We had a fantastic evening. Everything was excellent, from the appetizer to the dessert. The grilled leeks as an amuse-bouche were a delight! The bouillabaisse with its divine rouille was simply divine. All this with warm and friendly service. Thank you!

The service was excessive. The staff was attentive. The menu looked enticing on paper. The flavors weren't to our liking. And the prices were rather high (like the vast majority of restaurants in the old town). We didn't finish our main courses and left without ordering dessert. We left disappointed.
