The food was very good. There's no fixed menu. I ordered the Alsatian-style chicken breast, which came with green peas, mushroom sauce, morel mushrooms, and gnocchi. It was better than expected, just a little small in portion.

A wonderful discovery! 😉 We thoroughly enjoyed our meal, both the appetizers and the main courses... the crémant with grapefruit liqueur was divine! We'll be back to try the steak tartare... 😉😄 We highly recommend this restaurant! ☺️

This was my second time at this restaurant. It's a great find. Their set menu (starter, main course, dessert) works wonderfully and I find it quite refined!

12/03/2026: A wonderful discovery at Pied de Boeuf! Delicious food, generous portions, and above all, everything homemade – a real treat. A special touch was the decorations, brought all the way from Strasbourg for the traditional funfair next door; the atmosphere was fantastic. The service was warm and friendly. We'll definitely be back!
03/03/2026: The sauerkraut was very salty and the sausages were undercooked. The upstairs room isn't very attractive. Surprisingly, they were listening to Radio Azur while we dined! The service was efficient.

18/05/2026: A warm welcome, generous and delicious dishes – we had a very pleasant time.
15/05/2026: We were at Haut-Koenigsbourg Castle, and since the restaurant at the castle didn't accept card payments, we went to this restaurant based on a recommendation. My girlfriend immediately tried her first tarte flambée and was very impressed. The roast pork with crackling, as well as the desserts crème brûlée and fondant au chocolat, were also très bien. We didn't speak any French beyond what Google Translate could provide, and she didn't speak any German, but with a bit of gesturing and a little English, it was a very pleasant restaurant visit. We highly recommend it, even if it looks closed from the outside—just walk in.
