Another wonderful time spent at Bistrot du Quai. Perfect service from a smiling and efficient team. The quality of the meal and the flavors delighted our taste buds. We will return to discover other culinary delights.

A chic brasserie in a very pleasant setting. The welcome was a bit lacking... no smiles. We arrived without a reservation... perhaps that's why. The place is less welcoming for children... I think for many customers, the visit is for a special evening, or the presence of children was a problem. Regarding the food... the beef was very salty, so you need dentures or strong teeth. Given that we're in the heart of "good Charolais" country, I was expecting something tender that melts in your mouth... unfortunately, that wasn't the case. The children's menus are decent. The burger is small and served alone on the plate without any vegetables. Overall, I'm a little disappointed.

An excellent restaurant with refined cuisine. A truly wonderful experience at Bistrot du Quai in Charolles! The welcome is absolutely charming, and the food is of exceptional quality, with particularly refined dishes that wonderfully stimulate the senses. Two small points of note, however: Online booking: Even though I received an automatic confirmation for the same day, the reservation wasn't registered upon my arrival. I therefore strongly advise future customers to follow up their request with a direct phone call to ensure their table is indeed reserved. The terrace: As the Prince de Ligne so aptly wrote, "Politeness consists of not disturbing anyone's enjoyment." It would be wise to create a dedicated area for cigar aficionados, so they can indulge in this pleasure in peace and quiet without the aromas disturbing the enjoyment of neighboring tables. This is a place I highly recommend! I will definitely return, but this time I'll choose a table inside to fully enjoy my meal.

The food was impeccable, from the cooking to the presentation. However, the service... there's room for improvement with the staff. Discretion and attention to detail were lacking, and we experienced two breakages during our meal. We asked three times for a bottle of water upon arrival. Given the intense heat, this should be automatic. Just a small clarification to ensure the establishment lives up to its reputation, which, in my opinion, fell short of our expectations.

Excellent value for money: this is the bistro to visit if you're in the area. The food is top-notch, and I really want to commend the kitchen staff for their hard work. However, I have some reservations about the service. Apart from the young mixed-race waitress who greeted us with a smile, the service felt efficient but not particularly welcoming. This is all the more striking given how kindly we were received at other restaurants in the area. That said, it was still a wonderful experience: the beef ravioli were perfectly prepared, and the chocolate dessert was decadently delicious. I will cherish the memory of this meal, and we will gladly return.

The meal was good, however the service was extremely slow. There seemed to be a lack of organization among the servers, as well as a lack of friendliness. A shame, especially given the establishment's reputation.

Excellent and very pleasant staff. Lovely terrace as well.

Lunch with a colleague. Disappointed by the service, I had to wait and ended up having to ask for my steak tartare while my colleague had already received his ribeye steak. Unacceptable in an establishment like this.

Simple yet refined cuisine, impeccable service, pleasant setting. However, a major problem arises during periods of intense heat: the toilets become a veritable sauna, almost unbearable. All the customers complained about it, and the head waiter seemed embarrassed... apparently, it's a recurring and known issue, but no one seems to be doing anything about it.
