17/05/2026: The feeling of being at home, the warmest and most genuine welcome I've ever received at a Relais & Châteaux, the chef leading by example with his exceptional availability and willingness to engage. This is rare indeed; perhaps the family history of the place contributes to this simplicity amidst the exceptional moments the hotel offers. Hats off to the excellent dinner, full of gustatory surprises and intriguing questions, showcasing local produce; the wine pairing was also superb. The dream breakfast also deserves mention, though it's sadly impossible to try everything! Keep it up, keep it up, keep it up...
03/05/2026: I was delighted to have the opportunity to dine at Frédéric Doucet's restaurant. A superb menu showcasing Burgundian products. Rich, flavorful sauces that will linger on my palate. The service was highly professional, with young, dynamic, and attentive waitresses. An extraordinary sommelier who knows his wines inside and out and who respects your requests to the letter... a second Michelin star entirely deserved, with a chef who is very approachable.

05/08/2026: Another wonderful time spent at Bistrot du Quai. Perfect service from a smiling and efficient team. The quality of the meal and the flavors delighted our taste buds. We will return to discover other culinary delights.
03/08/2026: A chic brasserie in a very pleasant setting.
The welcome was a bit lacking... no smiles.
We arrived without a reservation... perhaps that's why.
The place is less welcoming for children... I think for many customers, the visit is for a special evening, or the presence of children was a problem.
Regarding the food... the beef was very salty, so you need dentures or strong teeth. Given that we're in the heart of "good Charolais" country, I was expecting something tender that melts in your mouth... unfortunately, that wasn't the case.
The children's menus are decent.
The burger is small and served alone on the plate without any vegetables.
Overall, I'm a little disappointed.

30/06/2026: I'm thrilled to have recently discovered this must-visit spot in Charolles! The atmosphere is perfect, the owner and her waitress are so friendly and welcoming! The service is top-notch. I'm having a wonderful time in this incredibly convivial establishment!
I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a drink in the Charolais region.
08/05/2026: We stopped for a coffee; the service was perfect, with smiles and friendliness all around. There was also a small terrace to enjoy the sun.

24/08/2024: Nel viaggio di andata verso la Bretagna ci siamo fermati qua per pranzo. Ottima qualità dei piatti..quasi tutti a base di carne. Al posto di vari Autogrill, dove il costo e’ alto e la qualità e’ scarsa, questa è sicuramente un’alternativa azzeccata !!

De passage avec ma Maman on commande un tartare, on a vu arriver un truc horrible !
Ça ressemblait à de la purée tellement la viande était hachée ! Plus aucune particule de quoi que ce soit ! De la purée rosâtre baignant dans de la sauce et un jaune d’œuf dessus….on aurait dit du dégueuli mais comme je suis polie j’ai pas osé leur dire !
On en a mangé un peu et on s’est rabattu sur les frites !
On l’a signalé, on nous a offert la demi Badoit en compensation !🤣
Bon…. Je vous passe les détails sur la suite !
La Badoit nous a pas fait digérer !
Bref on s’y arrête depuis des années au retour de la Haute Savoie, je pense qu’on va changer nos habitudes !
