Came on recommendation. We were very surprised, a great welcome. Smiles, everything was explained to us, yes we are from the South, so not used to it. The dishes were all very good, and I got the beer like a galopin 🤣. With a 20/20 for the drink I vleesch, the best in 2 years in Lille. Everything was super generous And the Estaminet place is simply a pleasure for the eyes. Thank you to the whole team of this estaminet and to the cooks.

While passing through Lille, we chose this establishment somewhat randomly while strolling. We booked online and the response was very quick. The dishes looked appetizing and, above all, typical of the region. Eating with an 80s soundtrack in the background is a perfect fit for this setting. We were not disappointed and would like to thank the two waiters and the waitress for their friendliness and competence. We couldn't get one dish, but they were very kindly replaced. It was even very generous. The only small drawback... English menus could be offered for foreign customers who sometimes struggle to understand the dishes on offer. Thank you again for these two hours of true pleasure.

Step back in time to 1970s France! That's the feeling you get when you step inside and start eating: the atmosphere, the music, and even the aromas. With traditional dishes from Northern France, it was a fun evening, and delicious too. Highly recommended.

A welcome that left something to be desired, with a waiter who barely spoke to us, not very pleasant or helpful, he didn't seem to want to be there. My flank steak was supposed to be rare and it was clearly overcooked, and simply pink in the center. I'm not someone who dares to complain or send back a dish so I didn't say anything, but I did mention it to the waiter at the end of the meal but it didn't affect him that much, so oh well... the setting is magnificent on the other hand, and my boyfriend's Flemish trio was relatively good (just the Potjevleesch was way too cold but otherwise it's okay!)

26/11/2024: A big thank you to Mr. Claude and his team for this unforgettable evening, we celebrated our wedding in this wonderful place, a superb room, we had an excellent evening, from the aperitif, buffet, to the desserts, nothing to complain about, everything was perfect, thank you for these magnificent desserts, we didn't expect it, it was so beautiful, Monsieur Claude was able to listen to us and meet our expectations, thank you to DJ Olivier, who gave us a superb evening, THANK YOU Alexandra and Eddy
13/11/2024: My wedding reception venue. The experience did not live up to the dream sold by the manager. The food was good and the service was OK (still lacking in smiles). Otherwise quite a disappointment. The standing tables were not installed despite no rain forecast. However, they were included in the price paid... the guests had to hold their glass without being able to put it down during the reception with only 2 glasses. The quantity of alcohol per person was not respected due to the manager's mistake during the appointment according to him.. on the sound side, Sylvain is announced as an incredible DJ, go your way.. too much light in the room for dancing, unsuitable .. finally, if you bring your champagne, ask for the corks. No proof of having opened so many bottles otherwise... Relatively disappointed. Organization that leaves a bitter taste. And plan to catch up elsewhere for our 10th wedding anniversary! Details which fortunately go unnoticed by all the guests but which are important for the bride and groom when they know what had been concluded. Summary for eating at the restaurant yes, for the wedding no!

04/07/2025: This brasserie offers simple but homemade cuisine, using fresh ingredients, which is already very enjoyable! The welcome and service are friendly and attentive. Don't be fooled by the exterior appearance; step inside and you'll be glad you did: it's a wonderful discovery. It's home to locals, which is a good sign. It's easy to get used to. Bravo!
26/05/2025: I've been visiting this establishment for a while without leaving a review. Now I'll do it. If you're in the area, the atmosphere is great, and above all, the food is good, even on a budget. Today I chose the andouillette, and I can tell you it was excellent. The daily special is top-notch every day. 👍 I highly recommend it. Come here, you won't be disappointed. 😊
