The meal was perfect, from the service to the food. Everything was cooked to perfection, from the ribeye steak and sea bass fillet to the vegetables and even the rice! We had a wonderful time. If you're looking for the best restaurant in Digne-les-Bains, you know where to go!

Very good and very generous portions; the prices seem a bit high, but wait until you see the portions! The table in the back was a bit dark. The service was adequate, but it was difficult to make ourselves understood for non-basic requests.

Good restaurant in Digne. Small dining room but slightly air-conditioned. Warm and helpful welcome. Sidewalk terrace by the roadside. The food is quite good.

We are always delighted to dine at Victor Hugo. The welcome is excellent, the food is delicious, and the prices are very reasonable. A must-visit in Digne-les-Bains that we recommend without hesitation!

Overall, the food was good, but the wait was endless. We arrived at noon and weren't served until 1:45 PM. It's a real shame. If we come back, never again on a Sunday at lunchtime.

21/08/2026: We're in Digne in July and August. The food at this restaurant is always perfect, but the owner's friendliness is deplorable. Not a hello, not a thank you! His adult employee is barely polite! We continue to go there because the food is excellent and plentiful, and the prices are reasonable!
08/08/2026: Passing through Digne, we came without a reservation, and despite the restaurant being full, the waiter set up a small table for the two of us, which is very rare! A superb meal in a lovely setting.
