A very warm welcome, very efficient service despite the crowds. The food is excellent. Well done to the whole team at Le Vieux Murier!

We came this evening, a girls' night out, and we were pleasantly surprised by our waiter, Clement. He was incredibly kind, a rare find. He was quick and helpful, explaining our choices very well. His positive energy made us smile. He's such a lovely person, and we can't wait to come back! A little raise would be well-deserved for such a wonderful person. 😀

Very quaint and cozy, and above all, very delicious beer. And very friendly staff!!

Passing through Place Plumereau, we stopped for a drink and a charcuterie board. The service was quick, and the board was delicious and generous. Delighted with this discovery!

The food is excellent. Bistro dishes with impeccable presentation. The stuffed cabbage (stuffed with foie gras) was incredible. The dessert was very good. The service and atmosphere were very friendly. Top-notch. I'll gladly return.

A wonderful discovery at the Le Vieux Murrier restaurant and bar. The welcome was truly excellent, with very friendly staff. The young, very polite and courteous waiter, with his elegant presentation, was a delightful surprise. The service was very quick. We chose the special Valentine's Day menu, and we were pleasantly surprised. The value for money is excellent, especially with the three platters for €25, offering a pleasant and original selection. The waiter was very attentive throughout the meal, regularly checking that everything was alright and that we had everything we needed. The cuisine is original and out of the ordinary, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The only slight drawback was the lack of presentation of the dishes. For example, we had salmon that seemed to be infused with beetroot juice, which was very tasty and surprising, but we weren't given an explanation when it was served. A little more explanation would have allowed us to appreciate the skill involved even more. Despite this, the place is original, warm and very friendly, ideally located in Old Tours. We will gladly return.
