Chance led us here on a dreary Monday lunchtime, and we left satisfied and delighted. The welcome and service were pleasant, attentive, and quick. Everything was excellent, homemade. Special mention for the poached pear! We'll definitely be back! And to top it all off, the bill wasn't too steep. A flawless first visit. It's wonderful to see that you can still find authentic, high-quality places.

A place I stumbled upon. A very warm welcome with a detailed menu. The portions are generous, simple, and delicious. The service is equally excellent. You can tell they're happy to welcome you and to promote the local beer or the chef's sauces. A place to keep and share! ^^

The fries are delicious, homemade, and cooked in beef fat. The prices are more than reasonable for a weekday lunch, and the food is fresh and seasonal. We always receive a warm welcome from the owners, who also work the front of house and the bar.

For me, this Welsh rarebit was magnificent; I've never tasted one so good. I recommend this restaurant 100%, especially to those who want to discover the gastronomy that is so dear to our region.

Le Fossile

08/10/2026: A wonderful experience at Le Fossile! 🤩 We came to try the famous hanger steak with shallots, renowned as one of the restaurant's specialties, and we were definitely not disappointed! The meat was excellent, perfectly cooked, and the shallot sauce was delicious. 🥩 A big thank you also to Gabin, who took care of us with great kindness and professionalism. His attentive, friendly, and very pleasant service truly made our meal even more enjoyable. A fantastic place that we highly recommend. We will gladly return!
