A place I stumbled upon. A very warm welcome with a detailed menu. The portions are generous, simple, and delicious. The service is equally excellent. You can tell they're happy to welcome you and to promote the local beer or the chef's sauces. A place to keep and share! ^^

The fries are delicious, homemade, and cooked in beef fat. The prices are more than reasonable for a weekday lunch, and the food is fresh and seasonal. We always receive a warm welcome from the owners, who also work the front of house and the bar.

Here you'll find the best Flemish carbonnade in Lille and amazing fries (now I can't find good ones anywhere else 😁) and kudos to the chef for his delicious dishes! This courageous couple of restaurateurs are a real gem, one being so gentle and the other so energetic, and above all, they are welcoming people who take great care of their customers 💜

I had a wonderful experience there yesterday, what a treat! We received a very warm welcome. The service was quick, the chef frequently checked to see if everything was alright, the smiling lady who looked after us was delightful, and the meal was simply outstanding. We ordered the tuna and the tongue. Go and discover something truly unique. It's well worth it!

24/07/2026: A small place with a surprisingly cozy atmosphere. For a street with quite some foot traffic it's a surprise how little you notice the noise when sitting inside. The service was amazing, props to the staff for being incredibly friendly on top of working hard. Finally and most importantly, the food was delicious. I highly recommend visiting if you're ever in the area.
