This was absolutely the best meal of my life. I ate at four Michelin star restaurants in France. All were amazing. But L’Ecusson was in a class by itself. Atmosphere is modern, chic, and understated class. The service was fantastic. Every plate of food was a piece of art. Seriously stop reading this and make your reservation for this truly special and memorable meal. Meals like this are a special moment.

Excellent dining experience!!! 😋
Everything went perfectly at l'Ecusson where we were taken care of very well.

Excellent dishes and original presentation!
Attentive and elegant service. We had to ask for the wine to be decanted.
Downside: Lighting with large spotlights coming from the ceiling in the middle of the table and on the heads. Not a cozy atmosphere.
Tables well distributed, but the whole rooms too monochrome white and beige. Lack of warmth and large fake bouquet of flowers. This could easily be improved with small table lamps and a few touches of color.

A wonderful discovery this Saturday, October 19 for a romantic anniversary evening. A warm welcome, perfect service, all kindness and smiles, which accompanied us throughout the meal, which was excellent. A feast for the eyes and taste buds... freshness... finesse... delicacy and subtlety of flavors... everything came together to make this gourmet moment unforgettable.
A big thank you to Virginie and Thomas Compagnon, as well as their team.

Nous avons préféré au menu à 39 € proposé au déjeuner, le menu à 85 € en quatre services.
Cuisine créative. Cuissons maîtrisées. Présentation des plats sans décoration exubérante.
Service efficace et attentif.
A la belle saison, il est possible d'être servi sur une terrasse calme à l'arrière du restaurant.
Prix un peu élevé.

We wanted an excellent dinner in Beaune and were steered to l'Ecusson by various reviews and it did not disappoint. The terrace outside is extremely enjoyable in summer. The service is very friendly and warm, the food is beautiful and tasty. We had just a glass of wine but it was also extremely good. Would heartily recommend. A great evening.
