We'd visited this place before and had fond memories of it. The welcome was excellent, the waitresses very friendly and efficient. The food was delicious and the portions were perfect. No complaints whatsoever; we'll definitely be back if it's still open next year, as it seems it will be demolished... a shame, because the mountain decor was lovely.

With many restaurants in the Val D’Isere area getting a reputation for poor service and rude staff, Le Casserole stands out from the crowd. Our server, who came from the Loire Valley, was absolutely delightful and we all had the signature ‘Le Casseroles’ which were delicious! Definitely one to recommend.

Really lovely authentic restaurant. Had to ask staff for drinks after waiting a while after we arrived. Food was really good and tasty. Nice ambiance. Fondue and steaks all good.

We went with 4 adults and 4 kids. The restaurant is cozy, then menu is great and the staff were super friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend. The raclette and the house casserole were delicious!

The best fondue and raclette in Val Disere. Traditional seating, reasonable priced wine can recommend the Rosè. Great staff and atmosphere

La Cave sur le Comptoir

20/03/2026: After the first visit ,I came here 2 more times. The wine list is impressive, but being alone I stuck to wines by the glass. The service from Camille was commensurate with the wine list – exceptional. I was greeted each time in a friendly and professional manner. Everyone spoke beautiful English, but I’m sure that my experience would’ve been even better (if that’s possible ) if I spoke French. The charcuterie board was artfully laid out, and the burrata salad and roasted vegetables excellent. I wish I was here longer to experience more of the menu . Highly recommend.
11/03/2026: A delightful time shared with friends who are regulars. We enjoyed a tasting of a very good St. Joseph Gripa, recommended by the owner. The shared meal was fabulously delicious. We'll be back to treat ourselves again.
