Léon de Bruxelles sur Paris

We visit Paris 1-2 times a year. We always go to this chain establishment. We always take mussels. There are no questions about the quality of the prepared dishes, they are always delicious. But the service has gotten worse. The waiter mixed up the draft wine we ordered, instead of 460 ml, he brought 230 ml. When we pointed this out to him, he said that it’s okay, the first decanter will run out, I’ll bring you more, but the cost of a large decanter is less than 2 small ones. How is that? Okay, we drank 1 carafe, ate all the mussels, ordered dessert, and then he suddenly brings a second carafe of wine! For what? Where were you when we were still eating and we had already run out of wine? We refused the second decanter. The plus, or rather minus, is that the waiter should have automatically brought a large bottle of draft water, but he didn’t bring it or offer it. We didn't leave a tip. We had dinner in the evening at 21:00. For dinner we paid 46.80€.

Very friendly welcome and excellent dishes, from cocktails to dessert. Very well located next to the beautiful and large Place de La République.

I recommend if you want to eat fresh mussels in Paris. The fried foods we ordered as starters were not very good (much too fatty and tasteless).

We were trying to find a place to eat on Friday evening and couldn't find a place because there was a line at every higher rated place. Since it was very close to our hotel, we sat here to have something to eat, and we're glad we did. I ate salmon, both the sauce and the puree that accompanied it were very nice. My wife also enjoyed her meal very much. It's a good thing we didn't get fooled by the score and sit still.

Dans l’ensemble, c’est correct. La qualité a un peu baissé. Les tarifs restent abordables, le service est sympa. La salle est assez grande.

There was a mention of nouveau. Mussels with coconut and spices...! ? I’m glad I tried the challenge! ! ♡ A soothing flavor for Asians, like tom yum goong and green curry! It was very delicious! If you like cilantro, please come!
