A very good little restaurant at the foot of the castle. For less than €20, starter + main course + dessert, everything was excellent. The staff were attentive and friendly. A delightful experience.

While visiting the region, I had dinner with a friend at this restaurant in Amboise. I ordered a pan-seared rump steak with a morel mushroom sauce and mashed potatoes, all accompanied by a delicious red wine from Touraine. For dessert, I had a mandarin crème brûlée, which was absolutely delicious. The price was reasonable.

A lovely establishment located in a pedestrian zone at the foot of the castle. A wonderful welcome and excellent service with great friendliness! A daily special featuring quality ingredients at a very affordable price. The rest of the menu is also very reasonably priced. As tourists visiting the region for a day, we stopped here by chance and I highly recommend this establishment.

18/04/2026: We stayed at the hotel for one night. Upon arrival, there was free parking and a charming garden. The room was standard, in a rather old building, but it did the job. The real surprise was the restaurant and breakfast. After reading the numerous reviews, this definitely influenced our decision to stay here, and we weren't disappointed. The front-of-house staff was superb, full of personality, and extremely friendly. We had a lot of laughs. The kitchen staff also seemed extremely friendly. And the food was flawless. A real treat!
