Tonight, we had the pleasure of dining at Les Amants du Marché. Despite our late arrival, we were welcomed and had a wonderful evening. The waitress was very kind, and the food was absolutely delicious. From the appetizer to the main course and dessert, everything was truly excellent and perfectly balanced. Thank you to the entire team for your warm welcome, and we look forward to returning!

It’s not often that we eat at a vegetarian restaurant but today we enjoyed a great meal here. The food was terrific and service perfect. The Arancini with aubergine was really tasty and filling - no short portions here! My friends had the Tarte aux haricots blancs. Again great portions, two generous slices of succulent tarte with mushrooms and grains crudités. The artisan beer was great too. It’s all bio as well. Seek it out whether you’re veggie or not!

I love having lunch at this organic and local restaurant right next to the Melies cinema! It's original, delicious, and cooked fresh... and for film buffs, at lunchtime you can add a Melies cinema ticket for €4 to the daily menu. Fantastic!

19/08/2026: Excellent menu. The egg starter was superb, well-balanced with a touch of acidity in the sauce. The fish was cooked to perfection, accompanied by delicious vegetables. The pastry for the raspberry tartlet dessert was very good, with a hint of buckwheat adding an exquisite flavor.
17/08/2026: Wow! What a great find in Pau! A lovely little restaurant, warm and welcoming, with a very pleasant terrace. The service was quick even though we had plenty of time. A set menu bursting with delicious flavors made with local ingredients. Behind it all is one person: the chef. In addition to the cooking and the service, she explains in detail what you're about to enjoy. Congratulations! 🤩

29/07/2026: Very good, the dishes were presented in an original way. Located near the castle.
29/07/2026: We discovered this restaurant during a previous stay in Pau three years ago. We were happy to stop by again on a Saturday at lunchtime. Prices have increased considerably in three years, but so has everything else (thanks to inflation!). We had the set menu (starter/main/dessert) for €22. Individual dishes are around €20 (€19 for a homemade burger and fries). The children's menu is €12 and includes crispy chicken and fries, and a scoop of ice cream or panna cotta. The servers were pleasant, although the service seemed a little slow. However, the quality of the food is still excellent; the dishes are delicious and beautifully presented. We had a lovely time.
