Very nice discovery! A place steeped in history which has been tastefully renovated in which we had a great dinner! The food is good and at a fair price! Thanks again for the welcome

Very nice surprise, unbeatable value for money, welcoming waiters and very refined cuisine for a starter+main course+glass of wine+coffee at €25 per person. We found the dishes served as an aperitif a little salty, but that’s just a question of taste!

New environment for the 30s. A splendid new place but still with the same warm welcome and always top-notch cuisine. Never any disappointment for 15 years. To be enjoyed with pleasure.

Have eaten here several times over the last 10 years and always given five star reviews. Posting to say the restaurant moved to larger premises on same street 50 metres nearer the centre of Chinon. Now has large, beautiful shaded courtyard for outside dining. Certain the same high standards and great value will apply. Now the bad news…..our schedule doesn’t allow us to dine there this trip!🤷🏻‍♂️, so cannot comment on an actual dining experience. Just wanted to give the heads up to what appears to be an even better dining experience. We will return………

Great meal in a lovely courtyard setting. Staff were very pleasant. The only downside was they seemed to be a bit short-staffed as dinner took 3.5 hours. A bit slow to start and at times too long between courses but I suspect this was because they have recently moved to a new location and it was a Sunday evening. It did not spoil our enjoyment of the food and the venue. Definitely the best of our three meals in Chinon
