Beautiful old building, nicely situated on an old street. The café is almost 200 years old. Excellent lunch.

A Parisian Café atmosphere, indeed, but with the calm of a small provincial town and the smiles of the waiters to boot! Despite the name "Café", it is perfectly possible to have meals there, rather hearty, and capable of satisfying any Parisian! The Charolais beef carpaccio, served with sautéed potatoes is to die for, as is the dish of tomatoes and Puglian burrata, basil sauce (photos). The desserts - tarte tatin, chocolate fondant... - are just as good... Outside of meals, the terrace is ideal for a drink, before tackling the open-air exhibitions or the Museum... After all that, not coming back often would be the Pompon!

A great discovery! An authentic, no-nonsense place run by very friendly ladies! A Sunday lunchtime was packed. Just look at the plates coming out of the kitchen. It's obvious! Good luck, ladies!
