Lovely restaurant in heart of Lille. Near the main square near opera house in a little alleyway. Historic courtyard building with inside and outside seating. Staff are very friendly and helpful especially as we don't speak French. We were lucky as it was a week day and we walked in, but it was fully booked on the weekends so do reserve a table in advance if you can. Food was excellent and generous. Prices were also reasonable, around €70 for family of 3. Really nice atmosphere and would happily recommended.

Excellent place. I had the "Ch'Nord" cheese platter and it was delicious and very generous! Homemade mayonnaise to top it all off :-) The service was friendly and very pleasant. I recommend it and I'll be back!

A friendly and welcoming place, the staff are kind and smiling, which is a pleasure. The limited menu hints at the quality of the dishes; we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, it was excellent and generous 😋

Found this place by chance and what a hidden gem it turned out to be. Tucked away in a quiet alley, it has a really authentic, cosy feel. We didn’t have a reservation, but despite being very busy, the staff still managed to find us a table, which was much appreciated. The service was a bit slow, but completely understandable given how packed it was—and the team were friendly and accommodating throughout. The menu focuses on traditional northern cuisine. I had the beef stew, which was hearty and full of flavour—definitely worth trying. Overall, a great spot if you’re after something a bit more tucked away and authentic. I’d happily come back.

A very pleasant bistro break in this little place that doesn't sacrifice quality despite its touristy location. Their Flemish carbonnade and chicken with Maroilles cheese are excellent!

La Luck

26/02/2026: Nice place, with a converted attic style upstairs and a cozier corner downstairs. There's a relaxed atmosphere, mixed with laughter and humming songs. Thanks for the concept.
