This restaurant stands out from the rest thanks to its rather unusual location and its very simple menu. The restaurant's underground atmosphere gives it a certain undeniable charm, a welcome change from the usual restaurants. The menu is also very simple but of high quality. You only have a choice of three set menus (plus a children's menu). This might be surprising at first and could put some people off, but the quality of the dishes is very satisfying. Instead of a starter, main course, and dessert, you get several courses served in portions that are neither too big nor too small. And the cherry on top? They serve the famous fouées as a side dish. These little bread rolls are a delight, a cross between a naan and a classic roll, and for me, some of the best bread I've ever eaten. If you're passing through Saumur to visit the castles or the famous Tank Museum, this restaurant is a must-try.

If you're looking for a delicious meal, go for it without hesitation! What a perfect time we had there. In addition to the authentic and unique setting, the food is excellent, the portions are more than generous, and the welcome is very friendly!

We were a group, a little late, so the organizers made an order without us. The dishes were not very tasty, the toilet was damp and not clean. The bread was delicious, homemade, that's the only thing that was tasty
