A typical cave restaurant. A wonderful discovery, both for the location and the food. You won't leave hungry, that's guaranteed! The adults, teenagers, and children in our group all loved it.

A wonderful place where we opted for the "Discovery Menu" and savored regional specialties such as fouées (flatbreads), stuffed galipettes (potato pancakes), and rillauds (pork belly confit) served with mogette beans. The welcome was warm and the service efficient. All this in a unique setting: a troglodyte cellar. If you're in Saumur, be sure to book a table!

Absolutely fantastic. The place can get noisy quickly. The value for money is excellent. Only the dessert was a little disappointing. A superb spot to discover the local specialties and atmosphere, provided you're not claustrophobic.

Unlike Lucas, we really enjoyed this restaurant, which finally offered regional specialties! Everything is simple but very good! What else would you expect at this price? No surprises, everything is listed on the menus. The Anjou soup was delicious. The waiter was very friendly. Perhaps the crumble could be improved slightly, or at least served warm or less cold... frankly, no regrets at all, and we would even recommend it! And the setting is definitely worth discovering!

A typical troglodyte restaurant in the Saumur region. A truly unique experience if you're unfamiliar with the area or not from around here. Highly recommended.
The fouées (small, pizza-like bread rolls) are delicious and piping hot! They're perfect.
The fillings are classic but tasty, especially the mushroom rillettes 🍄 and the parsley butter! Perhaps a few more original fillings (tuna rillettes, leek fondue, hummus, eggplant caviar, brie, tapenade...) would be welcome.
We would have loved to try some sweet fouées too (jam 🍒🍓🍎 or spread 🍫), but they're not offered 😢. A shame.
The staff is very efficient and friendly. All the best.

The fouees weren't golden enough. The fromage blanc was very grainy and acidic. The crumble topping was very thick. The coffee was served cold. The water for the tea was barely lukewarm. An experience we won't repeat.

As a group of six, we opted for the €26 set menu (including Saumur Champigny wine and coffee). The welcome and service were pleasant. The restaurant was full, so it was quite noisy, likely due to the setting—it's located in troglodyte cellars. But it's a truly unique dining experience! We ate very well and left completely satisfied. The vegetarian menu was excellent; I highly recommend it.
