A truly wonderful discovery! The staff is absolutely fantastic, warm, and welcoming. The atmosphere is very family-friendly and convivial, making the experience particularly enjoyable.
The setting is also exceptional: it's not every day you get the chance to eat in a real troglodyte cave!
The food is delicious, and the entire meal lived up to our expectations.

A very pleasant surprise! The place is lovely and unique, refreshingly cool in this heat. The welcome was very warm, and the special attention given to my claustrophobia was truly appreciated. The homemade meal was excellent and plentiful, served with a smile, kindness, and professionalism, even though the restaurant was quite full. There were only two servers, but they were incredibly fast. The price is very reasonable for the quantity and quality of the meal. I highly recommend it.

A wonderful discovery, especially in this heat (38°C).
The waiter and waitress were incredibly efficient, with very little wait for service.
The meal was generous.
The fouées (a type of flatbread) were delicious, as were all the other specialties.
Don't worry, the leftovers will go to their animals 🤣, no waste at all.

Fantastic restaurant! It truly showcases the local produce of the region.
It's important to check the menu before you go; I understand it might not be to everyone's taste, but that's a risk you take when choosing a traditional restaurant.
The welcome and service were impeccable, with a history lesson about the troglodyte dwellings and the well visible at the entrance.
I highly recommend it if you're interested in local produce and discovering regional specialties.

We had a wonderful time at this restaurant in Saumur! We discovered the famous fouées and thoroughly enjoyed them. Everything was delicious, made with quality ingredients, and the atmosphere was very friendly.

The food was very good; the fouées (flatbreads) were excellent, as were the side dishes. The rillauds (pork belly confit) were a bit too fatty, and the crumble was delicious but a little small.
The service was excellent, and the waitress was very pleasant.
However, the noise was really unpleasant; it was so loud we could barely hold a conversation—absolutely awful.
