A little disappointed, very basic.

An exceptional, timeless place. We enjoyed the regional specialties. The galipettes, the fouées filled with rillettes and fresh goat cheese—everything was delicious. The staff is fantastic despite the fast pace of service. Thank you for this lovely experience! 🤩

An authentic setting, a delicious aroma that tickles your nose as soon as you step through the door. It was a promise kept! We had a very pleasant, relaxing, and delightful time. We were thrilled to discover the region's authenticity through good, fresh, local products and the restaurant's warm welcome. And during a heatwave, the natural coolness of the place made it all the more enjoyable. 😌 Thank you for this experience.

We had a wonderful time at this restaurant in Saumur! We discovered the local specialty, fouées, and thoroughly enjoyed them. Everything was delicious, made with high-quality ingredients and in a very friendly atmosphere. A big thank you to the waiter who served us: he was incredibly kind, pleasant, helpful, and always smiling. His professionalism and good humor greatly contributed to making our meal even more enjoyable. A truly excellent place that we highly recommend!

We had a lovely time at this cave restaurant. The meal was good and the value for money was excellent: for €22 per person, we had a starter, main course, dessert, 25cl of wine, and a coffee or tea. The fouées (a type of flatbread) were delicious, and the accompaniments were varied (rillettes, fresh cheese, butter, gherkins). The cave setting adds real charm to the experience and allows you to discover a regional specialty in a unique environment. However, we were a little disappointed by the lack of authenticity we felt there. We expected to see more of the fouée oven and to find the convivial atmosphere traditionally associated with this type of meal. The welcome and service also seemed rather reserved, which slightly diminished the immersion. A good place to discover fouées at a reasonable price, but with the potential for an even more memorable experience thanks to a stronger emphasis on tradition and a warmer welcome.

Passing through the region, this was an absolute must-do. The place is fantastic! These cave dwellings are exceptional; they're definitely worth seeing! The meal was very good, with simple dishes. The fouées (a type of flatbread) were delicious, piping hot, and plentiful. The price is reasonable (€26 with coffee and wine), and the service is impeccable. There weren't many people, so we ate in peace and quiet! I highly recommend it...
