Lovely coffee, fabulous cakes, pastries and savouries too. The new owners are doing a wonderful job and we diverted our route to return at the end of our holiday. Highly recommended.

We had breakfast there three mornings in a row, tried all the pastries, and found them excellent, with exceptionally high-quality puff pastry. Having worked in a flour mill, I know this sector well. These bakers don't sell frozen pastries; everything is homemade, and you can smell the aroma! The young waiter was very friendly. A minor point: we didn't find the Italian ice cream particularly good.

Although the server was polite and the place is nice their price policy is absurd. Its a bakery and they charged 4.2 for a coke. Even the sandwitch was expensive (7€) even for Paria standarda which i am used to.

23/08/2026: Exceptional meal with impeccable service.
18/08/2026: We had lunch facing a fire extinguisher! We had booked for six people at least two months ago. The table we were assigned upon arrival was right next to the restaurant entrance, a thoroughfare. Three of us had a view of a wall with a fire extinguisher and evacuation plan, while the other three could still glimpse the cloister garden. We asked if it would be possible to have a more pleasant seat to better appreciate the sumptuous setting. This wasn't possible. A huge disappointment. The kindness of the staff cheered us up a little. A special mention goes to head sommelier Aurélien Usal: his choices and explanations for the "Essential Emotion" wine pairing were remarkable. The meal itself was delicious. All that remained was the frustration and sadness of not being able to fully appreciate the beauty of the place. The view of the fire extinguisher and the evacuation plan shattered the magic of lunch at a Michelin-starred restaurant...
