Honestly, Bar Pompette is a great place. It has a cool, laid-back vibe. You walk in, and you're given a proper welcome. The food and drinks are really top-notch, and the staff are friendly and smiling; you can tell they want you to have a good time. Honestly, it's the kind of place where you immediately think: OK, I'm coming back. PS: I personally have my collector's t-shirt.

Everything was great. The service, however, was a bit unfriendly.

A wonderful discovery for the whole family! The cocktails are excellent and generous, and the dishes are equally delicious, featuring high-quality ingredients, right down to the ice cream. The staff is incredibly friendly, attentive to customer needs, and far from intrusive. A fantastic atmosphere for a lovely evening at the harbor.

We were even served a Cointreau, although it wasn't on the menu. Since I unfortunately don't speak French, I couldn't ask why a mixed drink with rum has the German name "Kasperltheater" (puppet theater).

Nice bar, the biggest plus is the view from the two-level terrace. A major downside is the waitresses, who weren't at all friendly, and the rather pushy staff from the moment I arrived. I also didn't like having to pay for my drink before even being served. A bar shouldn't rely solely on its location, especially in such a competitive area. 😉

One major drawback for a bar in Brest, and this is the only criticism: why charge when you order, when it would be much more pleasant to pay upon receiving your drinks? We're not in Paris, and this practice is truly inappropriate. I understand that there might be unpaid bills after consumption, but there's a world of difference between that and having to pay when you order!
