Nothing fancy, but good quality ingredients in my opinion, perfectly complemented by their sauce.
My only complaint is that the salmon in the Nordic salad doesn't have enough dill.

We absolutely love this place, its our favourite restaurant in Lion Sur Mer, we visit every year for the D Day commemorations and stay in Lion Sur Mer, this is our go to restaurant. The food is always cooked perfectly for me, even the steaks. The fish is delicious. They are popular with the locals as well. Best to book as they do get very busy.

A lovely team, very attentive to the little touches that make all the difference. The foie gras was flavorful, the seafood platter exceptionally fresh with homemade whelks, the veal chop meltingly tender, and the John Dory cooked to perfection. The desserts were equally impressive, with special mention for the chocolate mousse and the chocolate cake. A truly wonderful evening.

I ordered the set menu and was very pleased; the terrine starter was excellent. It was homemade. The skate with fries was delicious. A good place for the price. The atmosphere is simple but authentic. I had a pleasant time.

A Lion-sur-Mer institution.
A family-friendly atmosphere, delicious homemade fries.
I recommend the skate wing with butter.
We also tried the pulled pork hot dog at the D-Day Swing Festival, everyone loved it!
