Maido sur Nice

We arrived as a couple without a reservation (sorry) It was absolutely delicious! The chicken was absolutely amazing and the cheesecake was sublime. Thank you, arigato!

2025-11 A very quaint place - warm beef curry on cold nights. Better to make a reservation than try and walk in, but the staff always tries to maximize your experience. The kitchen bringing out the meals is priceless. And don’t forget to get the karage!! 2026-02 Update Still great, new and improved photos, upgraded the service. This time I had a reservation but still got the same table. Super quaint place. Great to go in a group so you can get everything on the menu and try everything at one seating. Kimchi with parsley are an amazing combination.

My favorite restaurant in Nice!

A true izakaya in Nice, we especially loved the sea bream sashimi, beef tataki, chicken kaarage, squid stir-fried in ink, Nagano gin, and Camargue sake. Impeccable service. We'll be back.

A place where you feel good, the welcome is warm, and the food is delicious. The passion for a job well done is ever-present in this restaurant, which I highly recommend to everyone. Thank you for this wonderful experience.

Excellent place! We called at the last minute, but they found us a table and welcomed us with great kindness, even with a baby stroller. The cuisine is perfectly executed, everything is expertly prepared and delicious; we discovered some great new dishes. The plates are designed for sharing and make you want to try everything. A very nice selection of sakes and wines, with excellent recommendations. The service was absolutely friendly and exceptional. A place to visit again and again without hesitation. I highly recommend it!

(Forgot to take a picture of the drinks) The three of us each had a bowl of miso soup and then shared the food. It's a pity we weren't full, but the food tasted good, except the fried dumplings were a little burnt.
