Let's start with the location: Very well done, magnificent bar, welcoming room (only downside is the basement smell of urine, worthy of a large English pub). Service: Impeccable, nothing to complain about. Food: This is where it falls short. The law requiring consumers to be informed about frozen products shouldn't be passed. Everything I ordered was frozen: spring rolls, then gyoza… As for the sushi, the rice should be served warm, not ice-cold. So, the food was just so-so.

The food was very good; the only issues were the rather rude waiter and the nearly 40-minute wait before we could order. Despite this, the staff were extremely kind. A minor drawback was the music, which was a bit too loud; we couldn't hear each other speak at all.

The food was truly excellent, as usual. However, the woman at reception, wearing a black pinstripe blazer, was extremely unpleasant and deeply discourteous. It's a shame, because the rest of the experience was very good.

13/04/2025: Coming from America, we simply could not believe the value of the sushi at Yumiko. Perhaps this is common at Parisian Japanese restaurants, but as Yumiko was in our neighborhood for the month, it's the one we went to over and over again. Just so, so good, and so, so affordable.
15/02/2025: Good food at a reasonable price, welcoming owners, and a pleasant meal. The only slight drawback: the atmosphere was a little too quiet; some light background music would add a more convivial touch.
