Mon Bar sur Arles

We had a wonderful lunch at the Bar Tabac Brasserie in Arles France. Right off the square with lots of atmosphere. We had butternut squash soup (Veloute' de butternut, Poe'lee' de champignons, lord grille et ses croutons) actually really thick, creamy and rich soup with lardons (small pieces of pork) and divine crunchy croutons. In the USA this would be a bowl of soup, in France it's a meal and evidence of a dedication to making food a sensuous experience.

I enjoyed myself, quality of service, quality on the plate, very welcoming and warm person I am not from Arles, but nevertheless I felt at home there I know that when I come back, I will not look for a another address a pleasure to return to this beautiful place of people who put their heart into it and it shows. Thank you very much for this moment and this delicious meal. See you soon.

A very nice experience in this very friendly restaurant: a very warm welcome, an excellent meal accompanied by local wines that I recommend (the Tavernel rosé and red: excellent). A warm place tastefully decorated. A very pleasant moment for our Arlesian break. I recommend, go there you will not be disappointed

Excellent address with a warm welcome where you don't have to worry. We chat, we laugh and we have fun. The bull herd is worth the detour. Flavor and quantity are on the plate. We recommend without moderation. Two passing Ardèche residents.

Une cuisine de brasserie rapide simple et efficace, avec des plats du jour roboratifs. Le service est parfois un peu tâtonnant, mais le patron est à l'écoute de ses clients (c'est à noter). Une bonne adresse.
