Deux passionnés aux commandes : le chef et cuisine et le serveur… une cuisine étonnante et raffinée pour un petit restaurant qui ne paye pas de mine au milieu des kebab et pizzerias… du foie gras et entrée et de l’agneau, un dessert citronné délicieux

A very beautiful address in the heart of Bourg-en-Bresse. Two menus to choose from with seasonal produce. Beautiful plates whose delicious flavors added to the pleasure of the eyes. The lamb was a treat, perfectly preserved. A killing. Congratulations to the chef for his cooking and thank you for the two small limoncellos offered during the coffees. The little attention that always pleases and ends a good culinary moment.

The food is very good and the Chef very friendly. On the other hand, I don't think the waiter is professional... He didn't offer us any water when we arrived, we had to wait 15 minutes for him to ask us if we wanted an aperitif and send us the menu. We waited another 10 minutes for an appetizer after having had our cuts. Then he finally took our order. I then had to ask him for the wine list because apparently he didn't think it was useful to present it to us. After this chaotic start, fortunately the rest went well. Thanks again for the limoncillo offered at the end of the meal!!!

Meal with work colleagues at 12 p.m. Refined and quality cuisine. Good value for money. Calm and relaxing atmosphere. Really good experience

We had the opportunity to taste the new menu, the starter cold tomato soup and lavender ice cream is just excellent. Without a doubt, a passionate and committed chef. Bravo to him. Address to know.

Dinner last night a first, and not disappointed. Good welcome, pleasant and dynamic service. Good food with a very good mention for the can dish, the beetroot and vegetables cooked to perfection and a juice to die for. Thank you to chef Jérôme Beau for coming to see us at the end of the meal. Not 4 stars for the atmosphere because the terrace lacks a little decoration compared to the interior, but very quiet. We will come back and don't hesitate in the future.

Restaurant dont la façade ressemble à tant d’autres dans la rue. Mais vous rentrez dans un lieu chic et sobre. J’ai mangé derrière. Sur la terrasse ou plutôt dans une ancienne cour. En plein cœur du centre-ville. Le silence et dort. Vous avez l’impression d’être ailleurs. J’ai mangé entre midis et deux, sans réservation. Assis à côté de la cuisine. Vous sentez la bonne odeur qui stimule votre odorat. Le chef fait des merveilles. Ça fond dans la bouche. L’accueil, le service, rapport, qualité, prix. Je n’ai rien à dire. Je vous conseille de réserver…….

Great place for a quick lunch. Healthy and tasty dishes. Seasonal and fresh. Nothing frozen! Lunch menu - from 20€! Tomato soup as a starter, fish with peas as a main course and apricot charlotte.

08/09/2024: The best of the best in Bourg if you simply love seafood! We have known this restaurant for over 10 years now and we have always enjoyed it! The owners are very friendly, Mr. in the "stoves", Mrs. in the dining room. This is one of the best restaurants we know, so yes, quality has a price, well deserved in this case. Importantly, the tables are spaced far enough apart so that guests have their space. The atmosphere is calm.
10/08/2024: I have passed this restaurant thousands of times without knowing what a gem it is. I left the Bourg region, but I come back several times a year. And this time we got through the door. We tried: bouillabaisse and basil sea bass. Special mention for the rum baba, served with an extremely interesting choice of rum. We opted for the owner's rum and it was amazing... extraordinary. Dogs are welcome, kept on a leash. A wonderful moment. The owners are adorable. We loved it, we will come back, that's for sure.

27/09/2024: A very welcoming place and superb cuisine! If you want to try new flavors this is the right place! The dishes take us on a journey, and are not too spicy for those who are afraid of chili (for the brave the chili is served separately). I will go back without hesitation, thank you for this delicious meal!
27/09/2024: Having eaten on a Friday evening, it was a first great discovery as a Reunion Islander, good meals with correct proportions! (Those who are afraid of spices can go there without fear, everything is separate) Offering island dishes only on weekends, I think it's a great concept, it's a change from ordinary dishes. Not to mention the different rum concoctions they concoct which are delicious 🤩 Very warm service which leads to a very pleasant discussion at the end of the meal. I highly recommend and would return with my eyes closed
