We had lunch at Ostalamer this past July and the experience was fantastic. The restaurant itself is magnificent and very spacious, with spectacular panoramic sea views from the terrace where we sat, although they also have a large indoor dining room in case the weather isn't great. We had a reservation and were greeted at the entrance in perfect Spanish without any problems. The service at the table was very friendly throughout: one of the waitresses understood and spoke Spanish quite well (much appreciated), and with the other, mixing a little Spanish, French, and English, we communicated perfectly. As for the food, the ingredients were incredibly fresh and of very high quality. We started with the Plateau Ostalamer—oysters, prawns, shrimp, clams, and langoustines, all impeccably prepared—and for our main course, we shared the hake, Spanish style, cooked to perfection. For dessert, we finished with the rum baba and the strawberry tart with chiboust cream, both absolutely delicious. It's not a cheap restaurant, but considering the quality of the fresh produce and the stunning setting, it's not at all overpriced compared to what you'd pay in Spain for something similar. Highly recommended, I'd definitely go back.

Well-located restaurant with a terrace overlooking the ocean and sunset! Very welcoming staff. There's a limited private parking lot, but free public parking is available 50 meters away. Value for money: the price is a bit high for the portion size. Scallops (5) for an appetizer: €14. The Ostalamer platter (good, fresh ingredients) was €30, but the shrimp were so small they were impossible to peel. We were paying a bit for the location! The service was adequate, and the waiters were friendly.

The setting, the food, the service—perfect, the kindness and attentiveness of the entire team—were magnificent and magical. I can't wait to return.
