Everything was perfect Welcome, spaced tables, beautiful sober and chic decoration, impeccable service, very good cuisine, very good homemade breads, beautiful wine list. A great culinary experience in a magnificent location in Paris.

I loved the dinner. An intriguing wine tip, which is out of the ordinary.....the magic, the discovery in the glass. Thank you Mr. Thuizat...and also precise coordination of the service. The chef presents refined dishes.

We dined at L’Ecrin with four and chose the five course menu and our own choice of wines. The original approach of the chef and his staff is that they will choose the dishes suiting the wines. Hence, a stronger wine may lead to a stronger dish. We had a white Macon and a St Estephe and the dishes accompanied were excellent of flavors and variations in taste. The restaurant has a nice not too formal and relaxed setting. The staff is friendly and flexible in servicing the clients. Mind, one does not need to stay at De Crillon hotel to have dinner at L’Ecrin. The history and scenery needs to be seen. The Crillon / before it was turned into a luxury hotel / once was the city palace were Marie Antoinette and Louis 16th lived when they were in Paris. A must see Paris landmark at 10 Place de la Concorde. After or before dinner go to the bar Les Ambassadeurs. Awesome place overlooking the Place de la Concorde.

Dining at l’Ecrin is an exceptional culinary experience. I chose this restaurant to celebrate my partner's birthday and I couldn't have made a better choice. The attentive staff made this evening memorable by taking into account the special occasion. The sommelier's advice was impeccable, adding the perfect touch to our meal. A big thank you to the entire team for this unforgettable experience and particularly to Julia, Lucie and Xavier who were able to support us throughout this experience. We will definitely come back!

The meal was very tasty! Deserves the star! But we were disappointed with the wines. We chose 2 half bottles (white and red), recommended by the sommelier. As a white, our choice was a 2014 Chablis, which she said aged well. But his nose and mouth were too oxidative. Instead of opening another bottle for us, she offered us another Chablis, from 2022, by the glass, for a higher price than the one we had chosen. When we asked why she hadn't opened another bottle, she said she couldn't risk it because it could be so oxidative. And why didn't we get another half bottle? Because all other half bottles could be oxidative. And why are they on the menu? Because there are people who love him like that. Well, what about the people who don't like them, like us? In a starred restaurant, with the proposal to make the menu based on wines, this is unacceptable! Our expectation would be to have this bottle changed immediately, without questions, for a wine in the same range or even higher. It's a shame that the meal, impeccable, was damaged due to poor wine service.

This was my first visit to this superb establishment and it was a wonderful experience. Taking orders is a little confusing, but perfectly managed by a very friendly and professional service team. The choices and desires expressed are perfectly taken into account. I am still delighted to have seen my desire to eat an abalone, carried out magnificently by the Chef. It was a professional dinner, the next one, the next ones, will be with my wife because I can't imagine not sharing this delicious experience with her. One word: thank you!

This is my 2nd time dine in this restaurant. Love the menu concept and the entire team. Especially Francois always take such a good care of me and my friend. Makes me feel like home :) Can’t wait to be back again!

L’Ecrin was a magnificent discovery in terms of its concept and its setting! Many thanks to the entire François-Xavier team for their welcome and support during this special moment. What a symbiosis between the wine offered by Bastien and the different dishes served by Julia, Romane and Elliott, accompanied by their respective comments! We will not forget this special moment without complimenting the quality of the dishes offered by the teams of Boris Campanella and Matthieu Carlin.

What a great experience at the setting! Positive notes: the attentive service, the 3 butters including the excellent brown butter, the excellent bisque, the meat and its perfect cooking, the cozy and intimate atmosphere of the restaurant. And thank you to the chef for introducing me to Moelleux de Revar, it’s an excellent cheese that I will also remember!! The "negative" notes: a non-alcoholic cocktail that is not overwhelming, a food intolerance not always respected (by forgetfulness or negligence, but which could have resulted in a day of pain without our vigilance...), no verbal word for the birthday which was the occasion of our visit (but attention to the dessert all the same). Culinarily speaking, for us it was flawless. We feasted. Well done and thank you to the chef! Not to mention that the place is magnificent.
