A truly lovely time in a beautiful setting, magnificently decorated for Christmas. Excellent meal, perfectly paired with the wines chosen by sommelier Maxime, and efficient, friendly service. Bravo!

What an extraordinary experience!!! From the moment we entered the beautiful restaurant, we were greeted warmly by Justine. Our dinner was truly an exquisite experience; everything was incredibly beautiful, artfully presented, and equally delicious. We had the Champs Elysees tasting menu which was all immaculately presented and divine to taste. Our server, Zack, was delightful, fun, friendly, and kind. The sommelier, Louis, was knowledgeable, informative and helpful. (I definitely recommend the wine pairing.) We were grateful everyone spoke excellent English (sorry my French is so miserable), and were extremely kind and delightful to my 10 and 13 year old daughters, who had a formative time at their first Michelin star restaurant. The entire experience was truly magical without a hint of pretentiousness. Congratulations to everyone at Pavyllon and thank you for such a special experience. I hope to return to your restaurant, and to Paris again, someday soon. Merci beaucoups!

Edit: We called (twice) as suggested in the restaurant's response, but no one ever called us back. All your convoluted explanations are pointless if you don't keep your promises. We were blown away by Abysse last year, but this was a real letdown. Admittedly, the setting is magnificent: enjoying a tree-lined terrace in the heart of Paris is exceptional, and the welcome is warm. The service is friendly but not professional enough; constantly being told it's a "nice dish" makes it bland (I quote: "a nice cod, a nice mayonnaise, a nice fig..."). On the plate, everything is well-executed but incredibly boring... It's tedious. Only the egg and bottarga appetizer stands out. The sort of dessert/soufflé, worthy of a bistro, wasn't even adapted, despite the fact that I don't eat foie gras. The wine list by the glass is outrageous (€14 for a decent Bourgueil, the rest around €40 a glass!). The John Dory with coconut and vanilla is simply incomprehensible, and the dessert of toasted angel hair pasta, while original, is quickly forgotten. €145 for this experience, without even a petit four to finish, is unacceptable. Paris is full of Michelin-starred restaurants of a completely different caliber. Keep walking.

Creative flavours and food It felt like its the first time I ever try food

Today, we had an extremely pleasant lunch at the Pavyllon gourmet restaurant near the Petit Palais in Paris. A friend had given us a gift certificate for the four-course "Champs Élysées" menu. Each dish was exquisite, refined, and delicious. The setting was superb. The staff was attentive and very professional. A chic restaurant that I absolutely recommend!
