Typically Basque. Great atmosphere, a boss with a great sense of humor and good-natured teasing! I loved it.
Everything we ate was excellent. The "slate of Luzian" appetizers, an assortment of high-quality tapas, and what can I say about the main courses: hake koskera, axoa, baby squid with parsley and garlic, and Basque cheese.
We followed the recommendation for the white wine, Irouléguy Herri Mina.
It's a small restaurant, so be sure to book ahead or you might not have a great time.

The atmosphere is intimate and welcoming; you feel right at home in this typically Basque restaurant, just like the building itself.
The ambiance is very friendly, with an owner who has a great sense of humor, and it's excellent!
And what can I say about the food: everything was excellent! The fish soup was a delight, the calamari delicious, the axoa excellent, and the koka fantastic!
Next time, we'll book 24 hours in advance to try the Ttoro.
We had a wonderful time.
