Typically Basque. Great atmosphere, a boss with a great sense of humor and good-natured teasing! I loved it. Everything we ate was excellent. The "slate of Luzian" appetizers, an assortment of high-quality tapas, and what can I say about the main courses: hake koskera, axoa, baby squid with parsley and garlic, and Basque cheese. We followed the recommendation for the white wine, Irouléguy Herri Mina. It's a small restaurant, so be sure to book ahead or you might not have a great time.

18/02/2026: What a wonderful discovery thanks to my friend Annabelle! This restaurant, where the quality of the dishes—soup, chorizo ​​risotto, shrimp risotto, homemade Bounty ice cream—exceeded all my expectations and left me with a wonderful memory of my stay in Saint Jean. The welcome was exceptional, the value for money ideal. Bravo to the couple who run this restaurant; we will definitely be back!
11/02/2026: Excellent! No complaints whatsoever. Warm welcome, very good food, tastefully decorated dining room. The set menu is very affordable, offering a starter/main course/dessert for €22.
