A wonderful Basque experience. The server was delightfully friendly, welcoming, and sharp-witted. He also spoke impeccable English—a massive relief for our dining experience, if a slight setback for my ambitious plans to practice my French. It’s a relatively small restaurant with few tables that filled quickly, we had made reservations.

19/10/2026: Very hidden, but we found it and we really enjoyed it. They had freshly caught fish, very good.
18/10/2026: Ordered the Merlu. It was pan fried with a light touch of breading. However, the thin breading didn't have any crispness to it. It was also under seasoned. The salade was extremely plain, only lettuce with an indifferent vinaigrette. The bread was of average quality. The crust lacked crispness, also. Owner/manager was very pleasant, more so than the waitress.

23/09/2026: The food and service were impeccable. The only downside was that the lights in the back room and the terrace were turned off at 10:15 pm while we were still seated. We felt a bit like we were intruding. No big deal, though; we'll definitely be back.
22/09/2026: A great find! Highly recommended.
