Quality 5/5 Service 5/5 Decoration 3/5: it's beautiful, but it's old-fashioned. Diversity of dishes 3/5, meat or fish with some vegetables. Quantity/price 2/5: the portions are not very large and the dishes are huge in proportion. What is the point of a large flat plate with an individual tureen (capacity of half a bowl)? It's obviously very small. The menu is around €40. When I leave I find myself disappointed. Even though it's very good, I think the price is too high for the quantity. I'm hungry when I leave, and I don't think I'll come back.

Excellent chicken with morels and vin jaune sauce. First class service with it being served up table side. Restaurant was a little quiet at lunch in peak summer. Quite pricey but polished service and meal.

The receptionist at the ibis styles in Besançon recommended it to us during a previous trip to Besançon. We couldn't go there! My wife and I are very happy to have had the opportunity to eat there, we recommend it without hesitation

We found the same atmosphere as 10 years ago, solid wood table, hanging bells but a refreshed cuisine full of flavors: a menu at €35 with excellent value for money; the wines are very affordable and for gourmets the candied lemon tartlet is a real treat - appetizers and sweets are a delight The only server that evening for the room is very professional! To recommend with eyes closed !

27/08/2024: Aah.. Pierrot the famous! A real character. At first glance "grumpy", but very quickly you realize the opposite. He loves his customers, his cuisine, his restaurant... A guy full of humor and sympathy. After the shot, he will come and chat with you without hesitation. His cuisine is generous and very good. The atmosphere there is perfect (for us). Tables with red and white checkered tablecloths, walls full of stories, French music. Good luck, live fully and greetings to you and the ketje 😉
26/08/2024: Being from Brittany we came to celebrate the birthday of a friend in the area. We came across this restaurant and were as pleasantly surprised by their homemade cuisine (lasagna, morbiflette, etc.) as by the welcome and quality service offered to us by the owners. With a glass of get, cake and pineapple as a bonus to finish this birthday meal just right.

04/09/2024: We collaborated with Kaf des Vieux Amants for our wedding last August and we have no regrets. Superb quality of the meal (from the tastings to the plate on the day) and service with nothing to complain about... the waiters and cook were perfect!
