Quantity/price 2/5: the portions are not very large and the dishes are huge in proportion. What is the point of a large flat plate with an individual tureen (capacity of half a bowl)? It's obviously very small. The menu is around €40.
When I leave I find myself disappointed. Even though it's very good, I think the price is too high for the quantity. I'm hungry when I leave, and I don't think I'll come back.
Excellent chicken with morels and vin jaune sauce. First class service with it being served up table side. Restaurant was a little quiet at lunch in peak summer. Quite pricey but polished service and meal.
The receptionist at the ibis styles in Besançon recommended it to us during a previous trip to Besançon. We couldn't go there! My wife and I are very happy to have had the opportunity to eat there, we recommend it without hesitation
We found the same atmosphere as 10 years ago, solid wood table, hanging bells but a refreshed cuisine full of flavors: a menu at €35 with excellent value for money; the wines are very affordable and for gourmets the candied lemon tartlet is a real treat - appetizers and sweets are a delight
