Best fish restaurant in Lille. Beautiful decor. Top-notch cuisine.

A superb experience in every sense... especially when you stumble upon Quai 38 by pure chance. Quai 38 is first and foremost about the kind of welcome you wish you received every time you dine there: even though the restaurant was full, Chef Bertrand Bureau found a way for you to have dinner! You settle in at the bar and chat with the entire team, who are incredibly kind and professional! For an unusual table setting, an unusual dinner choice: we opted for four tapas-style appetizers to share... everything was sublimely presented and executed. Beautiful dishes, wonderful discoveries, delightful combinations, and top-quality ingredients. Go without hesitation! It's definitely our favorite discovery of the year! Bravo to the whole team!

I gave it 5 stars because I haven't been before, but it must be very, very good. One comment about the menu: the lobster couscous was €38 four years ago, now it's €53 – a 40% increase, or 10% per year. I'll be booking urgently, given the price hike due to the war in the Middle East...

We had a wonderful time from beginning to end. Honestly, it was exceptional. The food was delicious, the service was quick and incredibly friendly, and the little handshake upon arrival was a lovely touch. It's hard to find any small things to improve because the quality of the food is truly excellent. The only slight disappointment was that I had mentioned we were there for our wedding anniversary, and we didn't receive any special attention. Perhaps that's not the restaurant's policy, which is a shame in my opinion. But it's not a big deal because you really won't be disappointed if you go. Go for it!

The real highlight is their seafood couscous, absolutely fabulous: the flavors are perfectly balanced and the ingredients are very fresh. Friendly atmosphere and attentive service, an ideal place for a meal with family or friends. A must-try if you're in Lille!

A wonderful experience at Quai 38 in Lille. I've been several times and had the chance to try different dishes on the menu, which really highlights the consistency. The dishes are well-prepared, flavorful, and beautifully presented, using high-quality ingredients that come through in the flavors. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, perfect for a pleasant dinner or a get-together with friends. The service is attentive and efficient, even when the restaurant is busy. Overall, I'm very happy with my visits and it's a reliable place I'd gladly return to.

From the moment we arrived until the end of the meal, everything was perfect. The flavors were all there, from the appetizer to the dessert... I thoroughly enjoyed it. The chef came to greet his guests. The staff was very pleasant, without being intrusive. I highly recommend QUAI 38.
