Ce restaurant propose des tables sur une petite terrasse donnant sur le vieux port de Bastia. La vue est parfaite, les plats un régal et le service sympathique.

Exceptional!!! Excellent food and excellent service with super expert and very friendly staff... we ate twice in a week, once inside and once outside on the terrace with a beautiful view of the old port of Bastia complete with fireworks for the August bank holiday, the staff also speaks Italian!!

Restaurant recently attached to the Lavezzi restaurant (identical menu)! We had a pleasant time in this restaurant seated on the small terrace with a view of the old port of Bastia (remember to specify when booking). The dishes were good (Milanese schnitzel, gnocchi, desserts). Despite the large crowds, everything went smoothly and at no time were we in a hurry to vacate the table although the time was quickly approaching (we had been warned in advance when booking that there would be a 2nd service after us). We recommend this establishment!

Place with a beautiful view (if you have to book, ask to book on the small balcony overlooking the port) The sea bream was delicious.

The right address at the port, quality service, very good cuisine, we recommend the truffle gnocchi and the Nutella French toast!

Wonderful location, a splendid view of the small port, truly unique! Too bad about the poor quality of the food, we found sand in the clams and they had a terrible smell and taste. The rest of the fish like the sea bream and the spaghetti with prawns were nothing special.

Small but cozy restaurant right on the port of Bastia. I recommend booking in advance to be able to eat on the small balcony outside and have a fantastic view of the port, but I must say that the atmosphere inside is also very welcoming.

22/09/2024: Having left the GR20, want to eat real Corsican dishes, this is the right place. The dishes are delicious, the atmosphere is great, the waiter and the owner are great. In short, I highly recommend this restaurant.... The Alsatians
14/09/2024: “U Paisanu, in the heart of Bastia, is a true immersion in Corsican authenticity. Located on the 1st floor of the grocery store, the restaurant offers a warm and typical room. We had the pleasure of tasting several Corsican specialties (the whole menu 😂) everything was so tempting 🤤. The Bastiaise-style anchovies were excellent, and the ghjialadicciu was an incredible discovery. All served by a young man who was both friendly and very attentive. Before leaving, we exchanged a few anecdotes with Francis, the boss, a simple and authentic man who perfectly embodies the spirit of this place. A memorable and gourmet experience, which we recommend without hesitation!”
