Welcoming and friendly staff, delicious food and affordable menus

We happened to come across this place on a Monday evening when most other restaurants were closed, and we’re really glad we did. All of us enjoyed our meals. Two of us ordered the set menu, which was great value. The starters were very generous, the duck confit was really good, and the creme brûlée was amazing. A very pleasant surprise, we’d happily come back.

Great restaurant! The waiter was super friendly, as was the lady at the bar. We ate very well, the service was impeccable. We had dinner on Saturday night. The gentleman from Agen took our reservation with him. 👍

We had a very good time; the dishes were generally delicious, the ingredients were high quality, and the atmosphere was pleasant. It was an ideal setting to enjoy a meal in such a beautiful location. However, we did have one small complaint about the meat, which wasn't cooked as we had requested—a rare steak that was much too well-done. Nothing dramatic, but it's always a little disappointing when you choose a specific dish. Unfortunately, the main reason for my 4-star rating is the service: the waitress wasn't particularly friendly, and there were some mistakes with our order. It's a shame, because with a warmer welcome, the experience would have been perfect. Despite this, we enjoyed our meal and overall have fond memories of this restaurant.

Excellent restaurant, I recommend the duck breast and the superb crème brûlée.

The location is truly fantastic, especially the window overlooking the ramparts. The staff's welcome and friendliness are very pleasant. The menu descriptions are enticing; however, it's clear that the ingredients aren't of high quality. This is what you find in average brasseries. The cooking wasn't quite right for any of our dishes. It has all the ingredients for a great experience, it's a shame about the quality of the food.
