Gluten-free option in the medieval city of Carcassonne. We chose the €21 set menu. The first course was baked Camembert, very good; the second course was cod with garnish, excellent; and my husband ordered the duck casserole and said it was finger-licking good (this dish contains gluten, so I couldn't try it). Dessert was panna cotta with raspberry and crème brûlée (a type of Catalan cream). The service was very friendly and they speak Spanish.

Ate lunch here - €21 menu was superb value. The gesiers were tender and delicious, the cassoulet plentiful and creme brulee was excellent - the best I've ever had! I had the prawns which where huge and flavoursome. Great service and lovely outside seating with great views. Highly recommend.

Tourist trap??? Ordinary food. We ordered the €21 set menu; the gizzard salad was quite decent. The sirloin steak was served medium-rare, but when we told the waitress, she was surprised and said it was too late—she couldn't do anything. Even when we took our order, she didn't know how to use her computer. In short, very disappointed.

Very nice food . Had the plate du jour. Good value, friendly staff who didn't laugh at my attempts to speak french. Would recommend.

We ordered the set menu for dinner and it was fantastic. The service was very friendly, quick, and attentive. They served us in Spanish, the food was good and well-prepared, the cod was perfectly cooked, and we loved the cassoulet. We highly recommend it for its excellent value.

24/05/2026: Excellent. Of the four cassoulets I tasted in Carcassonne, this was the best. The homemade panna cotta was the best I've ever had. Good wines from independent winemakers. The hippocras aperitif was also very good. And the service was top-notch: three very dynamic, competent, efficient, and friendly young waiters added to the appeal of this restaurant.

26/05/2026: The cassoulet didn't disappoint. The same goes for the cheese platter, although the waitress couldn't tell us which cheeses were included, but the staff seemed very busy. The €21.50 set menu was satisfactory; luckily I ordered a salad as a starter, as vegetables are often missing from plates, based on my experience in France...
25/05/2026: Excellent place. Very good value for money. The menus are generous and delicious, the staff are friendly, we highly recommend it. The Corsicans
