Hi there, While I’m usually quick to complain, I don’t always take the time to share positive feedback, so here it is, My partner and I had the most wonderful lunch at Black Bass Hôtel, and I wanted to make sure the team knows how much we appreciated it. The staff were warm, professional, and genuinely approachable. Which might sound like a given, but these days it’s increasingly rare and always worth acknowledging. Having tried several other spots in Annecy, Black Bass Hôtel sits firmly at the top. The food was excellent, Charlie’s service was impeccable, and the atmosphere was just right. Worth mentioning: after calling every 5-star hotel in Annecy (not a long list), they were the only ones still doing club sandwiches, a small thing perhaps, but that’s what I was specifically looking to eat that day 😂 A couple of details that also stood out: free parking, a refreshing contrast to the places charging up to €15 with no justification and, with temperatures hitting 37°C, the fact that they have air conditioning was very much appreciated. Thank you, Charlie, and the whole Black Bass Hôtel team! I’ll definitely be back!

Located on the west side of Lake Annecy, the hotel offered rooms with excellent views of the lake and the mountains across the way, and the rooms were clean and well-maintained. It was wonderful to be able to leisurely enjoy the magnificent view, which was even better than the view from the city center. When I needed to get around the city, I could take a city bus, ride a bicycle, or walk, as the buses ran quite frequently. Walking along the lakeside was particularly enjoyable as I could take in the scenery. The staff at the front desk, bar, restaurant, and fitness center were always friendly and smiling. In particular, on the last day, I had no choice but to make an unreasonable request due to transportation issues, but thanks to their willingness to help, I was able to resolve the situation successfully. I will never forget my experience at the Black Bath Hotel Annecy. Thank you for making this a wonderful experience.

We booked for two people for the weekend. I'd like to highlight the exceptional customer experience; Giulia and her team gave us a truly warm welcome. Their special attention was the kind that makes a lasting impression and makes you want to return. The room was perfect, with a view of the lake, which I wholeheartedly recommend. The hotel restaurant also offered a wonderful experience. I definitely recommend this place.

This hotel is advertised as five-star, but unfortunately falls far short of that standard. Several essential elements were missing: a non-functional hairdryer in the room, some unusable electrical outlets, and no bathrobe for a child… These details, taken together, are clearly lacking for an establishment of this category. The rooms also lack amenities expected in a five-star hotel, such as laundry bags or even a simple shoehorn. As for service, the staff didn't always seem to be aware of the different packages and services offered, which detracted from the overall experience. This is all the more disappointing given the magnificent setting. Considering the price paid, we were unfortunately left with a real sense of disappointment.

Excellent stay at this hotel. We spent 4 days and 3 nights in the very spacious "Andrea" room. It has the advantage of being located in a much quieter area than the center of Annecy, but still easily accessible on foot or by bike. The staff was also fantastic. We also tried the spa, which is available by time slot, with a heated pool at 28°C (a couple of degrees warmer wouldn't have gone amiss). In the end, even the children loved it and left a lovely little note.

The best. Look no further. It doesn't exist in Annecy.

Suite Andrea with a splendid view of the lake, attentive staff. Well-appointed room, everything was ready for our arrival with children. Perfect location for walks along the lake. A well-designed spa on the lower floor with a gym and very kind and helpful staff. The heated pool could have been a little warmer than 28°C for the children. Overall, a very pleasant weekend with a view of the lake and mountains. ❤️👌🏽
