Restaurant de La Marine sur Pont-L'Abbe

A rather nice discovery in Pont l'abbé. Random stop, very smiling, friendly staff. A good quality “burger and fries” meal. Reasonable prices. A good place for a quick lunch.

Easy and quick reservation. Call in the evening for noon the next day during the week. Smiling and welcoming servers. We had the table next to the radiator (perfect) Quick order taking and advice on dishes and wines. Very wide choice of whiskey (Breton, Japanese, Scottish...) We had duck confit, skate wing and monkfish. The plates were generous and well presented. A very pretty plate for monkfish. The desserts were also very good. (2 gourmet coffees and 1 shortbread) The gourmet coffee is composed of 3 desserts, whipped cream and a biscuit. (Panna Cotta not exceptional but the rest was good) the coffee was very good. We ate in 1.5 hours during the week and at lunchtime. Reasonable price €120 for 3 for 3 aperitifs, 1 starter, 3 main courses, 3 desserts and 1 glass of wine. Excellent value

Small cafe, cool restaurant. The meal was good, but the fries were overcooked which was a shame. The server is nice.
