We booked for 7 people including a child on a Friday lunchtime. As for the meal, the value for money and quantity was excellent. However, don't expect to be served quickly, for a reservation at 12:30 we came out at 3:45 p.m. We went back there 3 times just to get water and bread. In addition, we had to request the children's menu to receive all our dishes after more than 45 minutes. A remark about the wait was made to one of the waitresses, but no reaction or response from her, bordering on unpleasant. Finally, the ponpon on the Garonne, there were omissions on the desserts.

We had a table without reservation for our lunch but we had the impression that we were intruding or that we were being done a big favor!
The outdoor setting is pleasant, the food is good but the price is a little high.
We still have the feeling of a bad welcome and we will not come back.

Friendly welcome, the waitresses on the terrace are very smiling and professional. I had a very pleasant lunch watching the boats go through the lock. The dishes are very good, traditional and hearty.
In short, I will return and I strongly advise you to have a meal if you are in Saverne.
Thanks again to the three waitresses on the terrace and to Maurice for a very pleasant time. See you soon

Ce que nous avons mangé était bon ... mais 2h30 pour diner d'une seule entrée !! Accueil très froid, pas même un bonsoir, et des serveur(se)s indifférents à notre attente sans même debarasser nos assiettes. Las! Nous sommes partis sans plat ni dessert !

Very good restaurant, the dishes are homemade and the terrace at the edge of the lock is really nice.
Being in a small alley allows for peace and quiet.
For big appetites I recommend taking a small starter.
The cocktails are worth the detour.

Pleasant evening spent with family at a table of 5 adults. Terrace with a friendly and pleasant setting. Although the wait time between the aperitif, main courses and dessert was a little long, we had a pleasant time. I would like to highlight the professionalism of the team in the dining room, smiling, friendly, and who did their best despite the waiting time, as well as those in the kitchen for the quality of the dishes (the salads were tip top👍). We suggested specifying the weight of the meat on the menu in order to avoid misinterpretation as to the quantity. Thank you for this good time spent in your establishment. 🙏

The food was very good and filled you up. The waiters were nice and brought the food extremely quickly. The spaetzle were very filling despite the small amount. The creme brulee was good, although the sugar wasn't completely caramelized. Despite the heat, you can sit comfortably in the shade of the parasols.
