The mashed potatoes were excellent! We left very quickly due to lack of time.
Next time I'll order dessert.

We stumbled upon this restaurant after our bike ride.
Everything is cooked using local, locally sourced ingredients, which we love!
The manager presented all the dishes to us, making sure to mention the producers.

A hidden gem in Ascain! This little bar-restaurant is simply perfect. You can feel the genuine passion, from the appetizers to the cheese course, with top-quality Basque regional products. The wine selection is excellent and pairs wonderfully with the dishes. Special mention goes to the owner: dedicated, friendly, and attentive. An authentic place just the way we like them, I highly recommend it!
