We stumbled upon this restaurant after our bike ride. Everything is cooked using local, locally sourced ingredients, which we love! The manager presented all the dishes to us, making sure to mention the producers. We loved it!

A hidden gem in Ascain! This little bar-restaurant is simply perfect. You can feel the genuine passion, from the appetizers to the cheese course, with top-quality Basque regional products. The wine selection is excellent and pairs wonderfully with the dishes. Special mention goes to the owner: dedicated, friendly, and attentive. An authentic place just the way we like them, I highly recommend it!

We discovered this restaurant by chance one evening while passing through Ascain. Honestly, you have to go! We had a very good meal with excellent cuisine made from fresh ingredients. The service was friendly.

17/04/2026: THE RESTAURANT TO TRY IN ASCAIN! We stopped by chance one evening in Ascain and what a discovery! The chef was lovely, the food generous and delicious! The txuleton for two was perfectly seasoned, the fries were homemade, the sheep's cheese was excellent, and the pistachio-raspberry fondant was delicious… everything was homemade! If we're ever back in the area, this will definitely be our next stop!

03/05/2026: Nice and friendly place. Unfortunately, the system wasn't explained to us, so we ended up paying an extra €10 per person for a cider (just a small glass). A little more courtesy from the manager would have been appreciated. She wasn't very accommodating; for a hen party table of 12 people costing €410, we were refused a digestif. A shame.
