A sublime stay! The staff are friendly and very welcoming. We dined at the hotel restaurant – a complete, charming, and heartwarming meal.
The invigorating pool allowed us to relax, as we should, for this beautiful Valentine's Day weekend.
A minor drawback regarding the Charme Room: it consists of two single beds pushed together.
That said, it didn't detract from our wonderful stay.
The hotel is magnificent, very clean, and has a friendly atmosphere.
Thank you so much to the entire team for this wonderful experience.

A few weeks ago, we planned to spend a few days at the "Ami Fritz." Everything was wonderful: an empathetic receptionist who spoke fluent German, a very tastefully furnished room, and a fantastic swimming pool and sauna. A delicious Alsatian dinner rounded off the day perfectly. Unfortunately, my husband suffered a medical emergency after the first night in Ottrott, so we had to leave very quickly. We are incredibly grateful that this was arranged so quickly and easily, and that we only had to pay for the one night! After a hospital stay and two operations, my husband is now healthy and fit again, and we are already looking forward to visiting the "Ami Fritz" again soon!

A perfect Alsatian getaway! The hotel has incredible charm with its warm, traditional decor. The room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. We also dined at the hotel restaurant (the Winstub) and it was a real treat: generous and delicious regional dishes. The staff is welcoming and friendly. I highly recommend it for an authentic stay in Ottrott!

Excellent restaurant, the entire menu is tempting, and the staff is top-notch. Certainly the best sauerkraut in Alsace, don't miss it! And if you'd like to try the hotel, the rooms are lovely and the spa is perfect for a relaxing getaway!

We've been coming to L’Ami Fritz as a family for years, and it's always a great pleasure. The welcome is warm, the service impeccable and attentive, and the dishes are simply excellent, without exception.
Special mention goes to the chef, who is incredibly kind and takes the time to visit each table and chat with the customers—a rare and much appreciated touch these days.
And what can I say about the sauerkraut… for me, it's the best sauerkraut in Alsace: generous, flavorful, and perfectly executed.
A must-visit, authentic, and friendly restaurant that we always happily return to.

A superb hotel in Ottrott, a real gem!
The setting is magnificent, peaceful, and impeccably maintained, ideal for relaxing and enjoying Alsace. Special mention goes to the spa, which is simply exceptional: clean, soothing, and very well-equipped, perfect for a truly relaxing experience.
The restaurant is also a huge favorite: without hesitation, you'll find the best Alsatian dishes in the region—generous, flavorful, and perfectly executed by the chef using high-quality ingredients.
A perfect stay from beginning to end, with attentive and professional service. We will definitely be back!

I've been coming to Ottrott to visit the restaurant on and off since 1997, and I've also stayed at the hotel. The restaurant's quality is top-notch; the stop was worthwhile once again and was my culinary Christmas highlight.
