Quality dishes in a pleasant setting

The restaurant has a very beautiful room and we eat excellent traditional cuisine there, the goose foie gras was very good, what can we say about the scallops, risotto and chanterelles from the Vosges a real delight and to finish a beautiful pear Hélène and its delicious hot chocolate sauce, the welcome and the service are friendly, a very beautiful restaurant to absolutely discover.

Very nice table and tasty cuisine.

They apologized profusely - I've been coming here for years for the excellent food. This weekend I booked a room (otherwise only for lunch) so that I can enjoy the wonderful food and a good glass of wine. There was no one at the reception, not even a bell. So I went to the restaurant where I found a gentleman I didn't know, hoping he would help me. Wrong thought. I was hissed at, saying he wasn't the receptionist and wasn't working. After some hesitation, he deigned to call someone. The lady who rushed over was very friendly. I was really looking forward to dinner. What a disappointment it was when I was served by said gentleman. What was the final straw: Because he no longer had the wine (open) that I ordered, he simply gave me another one in a stone jug - for a Savigny-lès-Beaune 1er Cru! After trying it, it was clear that this wasn't what I ordered. When I wanted to see the bottle, the dizziness came out. He even complimented me on noticing it. My stay is spoiled and I won't come again. The "normal" waiters are very friendly, but the chef de service are very confident and I never felt welcome.

Gourmet package with partially renovated rooms relatively expensive for the service, main ingredients in the menus very clear, otherwise good food quality, breakfast buffet with little selection, you have to cook your own eggs, Bundt cake is dry, no offer of scrambled or fried eggs, espresso machine is at 9:45 with supposedly "Problems" switched off, sauna and hammam doors don't close, infusion bucket leaks, relaxation room not accessible, very friendly staff

We had lunch good service We told the service that the quenelle was a little dry with a slightly bland sauce. On the other hand, the pork cheek was succulent.

Il s’agit DU restaurant incontournable à Ottrott. Plats traditionnels alsaciens, tables disposées sur une jolie terrasse. Le service était bien et le chef est venu saluer la salle en fin de service. À essayer sans aucune hésitation. Mention spéciale pour la galerie de souvenirs dans la descente d’escaliers vers les toilettes.

Very nice restaurant in a lovely room with friendly and correct service. The food is of a high standard and there’s an excellent wine list to match. We had one €58 menu and one á la carte and the head waiter suggested a good Pinot Gris to match our food. I had fois gras to start and veal as the main. The veal was divine and so succulent. I’m not that fussed on fois gras to be honest and now think a good free range chicken liver pâté with some Port is both more ethical and tastier. I digress and I realise I also had veal. My wife had tuna tataki to start (excellent) and pork cheeks cooked in Alsatian beef with spätzle (again excellent). Desserts were sorbet and I had a vielle prune liqueur poured over an ice dessert. It was all a lovely meal and perfect for a special occasion.
