Restaurant L' Ami Fritz sur Ottrott

During a family meal, I had lunch in this restaurant located in Ottrott, whose reputation is well established. We spent a very pleasant, friendly time on the beautiful terrace, in the shade of the plane trees, in the heart of this charming Alsatian village. I took the menu for 48€: - Fresh cheese terrine as a starter - Grilled swordfish, potatoes and small vegetables for the main dish - Apricot tart for dessert Traditional French and Alsatian cuisine, refined, tasty and generous, impeccable service, a bucolic setting... In short, everything was perfect!

Excellent cuisine and wine selection! Traditional dishes, carefully and cleverly modernized, the best products and excellent service in a cozy and stylish atmosphere - you won't want to leave!

Everything is very nice and elegant ambience. A very good hotel with a very good restaurant.

We had dinner at the restaurant for our 10th wedding anniversary on a Sunday evening. Everything was perfect! We each opted for a menu for €58, starter, main course and dessert. Everything was excellent, we enjoyed ourselves from start to finish. The cooking was controlled, the dishes were very hot. The service was perfect, as good as the dishes. A must-see address in Ottrott ❤️ So sure, we've never had a bill like this in a restaurant, but it was worth it 😊 A big thank you and good luck to the team.

We had dinner at the restaurant of our friend Fritz, a very nice surprise, from the starter to the dessert it was faultless, everything was delicate and delicious, we will come back!

Very nice restaurant in a lovely room with friendly and correct service. The food is of a high standard and there’s an excellent wine list to match. We had one €58 menu and one á la carte and the head waiter suggested a good Pinot Gris to match our food. I had fois gras to start and veal as the main. The veal was divine and so succulent. I’m not that fussed on fois gras to be honest and now think a good free range chicken liver pâté with some Port is both more ethical and tastier. I digress and I realise I also had veal. My wife had tuna tataki to start (excellent) and pork cheeks cooked in Alsatian beef with spätzle (again excellent). Desserts were sorbet and I had a vielle prune liqueur poured over an ice dessert. It was all a lovely meal and perfect for a special occasion.

Chaque année nous venons passer un dîner dans cet établissement à la décoration typique. Service impeccable et très soigné. Les plats sont toujours aussi bons et le vin qui l’accompagne également. En temps ensoleillé, la terrasse est superbe pour manger. Nous reviendrons de nouveau l’année prochaine.
